Subeoms are gonna love this! This is why SolSeon/SolJae couple felt so real and sincere that we couldn’t even…
Title: Lovely Runner, Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Hye Yoon "I really tried to love you"
💙I lived for 10 months between filming & broadcasting with 'Sol is in Sunjae (heart) & Sunjae is in Sol' I tried to really love (Hye Yoon's Sol) while filming. My heart fluttered (excited) every time because I could feel Hye Yoonie's eyes (the love from the way she gazed at him) and the sincerity of the situation during the romantic scenes. In particular, before the bed scene in the last episode, Hye Yoonie "Shouldn't we really love each other?" Those words had great power (strength) throughout the filmining (for me). Kim Hye Yoon, "I think we get more attention because of the synergy w my co-start who has a large height difference" & "I felt a lot of excitement (heart fluttered) from the difference in hand & foot size between us"
The trans for this was a little difficult to do cause the report itself was a little jumbled with conversations between Woo Seok's response & what Hye Yoon said to him but other than that his main response was he tried to love Hye Yoon's Sol throughout the filming & i think he really did fall in love cause we got such beautiful versions of Soljae
Subeoms are gonna love this! This is why SolSeon/SolJae couple felt so real and sincere that we couldn’t even…
Previously a veteran actor from a different show said in his interview that if an actor or the actors can fall in love on set while filming it's one of the biggest achievements, even if the actor falls for them as a person it's a huge advantage as it seeps into the characters & scenes & viewers can sense it through the characters.
So the bts where we see them being affectionate & the way Woo Seok looked at her etc, while it was Woo Seok looking & being that way to Hye Yoon it was also them falling in love with their characters through each other & my oh my how they did fall in love cause there will never be a couple like Sol 💚 Sunjae no matter how hard anyone else tries. It's just a Hye Yoon Woo Seok thing that we were lucky to witness & experience.
Is Twinkling Watermelon a good show to help with the withdrawal syndrome or should I just rewatch Lovely Runner…
Yes my friend Twinkling Watermelon is an amazing drama! My thoughts while watching LR is LR time travel plot slightly has TW vibes. They’re also funny (and sad at some parts).
Both LR and TW are in my top 5 favourite Kdramas of all time. The kind that I’d rewatch every year.
The difference is that LR’s main focus is romance whilst TW is family and friendship with some cute romance.
Try watching TW at least 2 first episodes. Ep 1 already got me hooked tho. 😆
I think it’s gonna be hard for a completed drama rating to increase especially after some time has passed. 9.2 is good enough as it rose up overnight right after episode 16 aired.
What make Lovely Runner loveable (from an ongoing watcher):
1. The simplicity (brings us back to older Kdramas that we genuinely enjoy without much heavy stuff). 2. Fast-paced storylines that keep us engaged. 3. Unpredictable (most viewers’ theories were proved wrong by the next episode). 4. Easy-to-understand storylines (IDK why some have issues regarding this aspect). 5. Almost flawless (so-called “plot holes” are debunked when we focus from the start or rewatch). 6. The beauty of every detail, plot twist, parallel in every timeline (KUDOS TO THE DIRECTOR). 7. Satisfying romance (the BEST, so far). 8. No wasting time with the villain & 2ML’s backstory; 9. Hence, not draggy (like most dramas after early half). 10. The balance and right timing of comedy & dark aspects. 11. The perfect OST & Eclipse songs (top ranked on music charts). 12. Iconic scenes (umbrella, nostril, lamppost, Sunny). 13. The chemistry between all characters. 14. The BEST we could ask for.
I’d love to describe more but I don’t think using words is enough to talk about Lovely Runner.
But one thing that I could use to describe this drama from my perspective is that Lovely Runner is “the kind of drama that heals our sorrows”. :) <3
It gave me such an indescribable feeling when the more I rewatch, the more I think Lovely Runner is a perfectly written and directed drama from start to end.
Then it hit me that I’m not gonna heal from this withdrawal syndrome any soon. It will be hard to find a drama that’s as amazing as this.
I used to feel like this with some dramas I watched before, but I’ll admit that this one is quite different. I can’t describe it. I feel like there’s a hole in my chest after it ended. 3
What exactly is so good about this drama that everyone is praising it?

❗️❗️❗️ Dear Subeoms, I think we should start putting anything that we get from other sites with links (Twitter/X, IG, YouTube, etc.) under SPOILER tag.
This is to avoid taking up the whole comment section space. Sometimes scrolling can be annoying, and for some people it’s inconvenient to read comments with “long essays” without space breaks. 😅
We can still stay here, camping together while being understanding towards each other and other visitors. 😊

This is why SolSeon/SolJae couple felt so real and sincere that we couldn’t even imagine other actors/actresses as them.
It’s hard to distinguish between reality and fiction, and those BTS clips didn’t help either.

Go with a simple mind. No need to think hard as this drama is well known for its simplicity.
If you have any questions, you can drop them in the comment section as there are still lots of active fans “camping” here. 😊
Congrats!
