Now that his instincts have awakened im really curious to see the choices he would make- if he becomes a real monster or overcomes the "psychopathic genes" as they mentioned before to maintain his humanity

i agree , but at the same time since it is shown that yu ri has no selfish desires till now in getting between them even after being human again and also helping out the other ghosts at the same time ,i think she may pass her judgement and get to live on . And min jung hopefully can find her purpose.I know more realistically speaking, it sounds absurd but being a fantasy/ supernatural story it can happen.
