I saw a recent drama trailer with him as the ML. The FL transmigrates to a novel where he's the ML, he's bankrupt, and expects the FL to divorce him. But the the now transmigrated FL supports him and refuses divorce and sort of sees him it as a good investment. If anyone has the link, please drop!

I got it, when you said that the chairman was going to pull the investment but at the end of the day the ML had a hand right? He was involved right? The 2ML was innocent and the ML intended to drag him. As I said, it doesn't matter, the chairman wasn't a relevant character for me, the ML was, he was the one with maximum screentime. I can accept a flawed ML, but this ML seemed berserk to me. His actions were downright ridiculous. First of all, even if he was upset with his ex-partner it's absolutely insane to try to make her current partner go bankrupt. I was still somewhat okay with watching a crazy ML. But his actions after 2ML got out of prison didn't sit well with me. He was the reason why 2ML went there and tried not to hurt FL by providing her with a bs reason and that made ML angry? It was laughable for me atleast. He was Vile not flawed.

I wasn't expecting them to completely copy the original version but the possibility of loveline for 2nd brother doesn't sit well with me. Specifically because his character was designed in such a way that he would get extremely vulnerable when it came to his family, so much that love or any sort of romantic feelings were hardly a priority for him. And they changed the FL's character so much, it was shown that since she didn't have many female relatives while growing up she was tomboyish..she's nothing like that, not even a bit.

I guess it just shows the basic difference between kdramas and cdramas currently. For some reason I feel like kdramas are more inclined towards romance in slice of life dramas. In the original the main attraction/sp was family and their bonds without any biological relationship. This one is starting to seem like same romcom with leads belonging to one family, nothing seems unique for me and I can't see glimpses of the brotherly bond.. they seem like friends. Not my cup of tea I guess.

Don't waste your time watching this crap, it's the shittiest drama i ever watched. the ml is a complete jerk that…
It is truly the most infuriating piece of drama I have ever watched. She had zero ounce of self-respect and no matter how disrespectful he was she kept going back to him. I also enjoyed the scene when the 2ML beat him up. The audacity of both the leads to be mean and rude towards 2ML and 2FL tho. It seemed like they just wanted to put the blame on somebodyelse.

dont forget the lawyer friend instigated him while he was drunk too it doesnt excuse him but like I said on the…
You don't understand what I am trying to explain here. Nothing and absolutely nothing can excuse his behaviour. I am not going to talk about what could have happened. What happened is that he hurt everyone, his ex, his current, his current's ex. I don't even understand why the show is named after the female leads when the only way I could enjoy this was to forgive or accept this ML, who had no regards for anyone, was a brat, disrespectful and impulsive maniac. In one episode he gets angry with the 2ML cause magically he feels protective about the FL(after dissing her and putting her down multiple times)...with what right? He was the sole reason why everything went wrong.

If that wasn't enough the FL proceeds to blame and diss the 2FL even though it wasn't her place to get involved. For me the lead characters were narcissistic and pathetic people who kept looking for others to blame and vent on.

No, it wasn't her fault. If you love someone, have plans of spending your entire life with him and you get to hear him being reluctant about acknowledging his love, and rather sees your life with pity which she already received from multiple people; isn't it obvious that she would leave?

He went through a lot? Whose fault is that? He has anger management issues, and because of his impulses, he ruined lives of multiple people and kept insulting others. I have never heard such a ridiculous reason for justifying a character's wrongdoings. "Ah did I hurt him? Beat him up? Ruined his career? Love life? Sent him to jail?.. everything is fine since someone else was going to do it anyways." It doesn't matter if the 2ML was going to face these eventually. What matters is that the ML, because of his traumas and personal issues, resorted to unfair means and ruined 2ML's prospects. He single-handedly became the reason of their breakup, unfair treatment towards 2ML and the FL's insecurities. His guilt seems very inferior compared to the atrocities he resorted to.

Finished this. Gotta say the romance is right up my alley.

Regarding the story, I did like it but so many questions unanswered. How did she get out of the car? The ML's grandmother was okay with them dating? Did TJ and YSH divorce? What happened to Im Se ju? Is there any reason for the doctor guy hating his wife? How's YSH doing? Did TJ go to jail? After YSH got involved what happened to her father's position? What happened to binimom? And was there a story behind chae-hee's on-off relationship with sihyun and obsession with ML? (I SO WANTED THE DOCTOR'S WIFE TO BE _bbbfamous😭).

And how were the main cp interacting 😭

I am at episode 9 and just wanted to ask can people recommend me dramas where the main couple have same vibes as seo Ah Ri and Jun Kyung. Ambiguous, tension, not from the same world yet keep feeling attracted to each other, completely subtle but visible to others completely.

I am always getting attached to these ships😭 but can only get few like this. Secret Forest, beyond evil(although people might not ship them), Good detective S1, Voice S2, WWW( married couple), Glory(Dong yun and Do young), be melodramatic (Yun Jung and Kim Sang Soo), Vincenzo, detective L. Somebody please suggest such dramas. 😭

OMG WHAT A SHITTY DRAMA. ML with anger issues and is may be bit abusive as well and FL surviving with non-existent self respect. The only victims or the people suffering in the drama are her parents, tae Jin and Hae-young - 2. It had such high ratings, which compelled me to give it a try but oh god my eyes.

What exactly was the fault of ML's ex? She loved the guy truly, had to hear that she is being pitied and looked down upon, after years comes back and take c*ap from some unrelated and irrelevant lady only because she has the same name and is a better person than her?! The Karaoke scene pissed me off so bad, why was the FL abusing/behaving so petty towards the other girl when OHY2 didn't even behave rudely or in a vile way? Let me guess..for a GUY.🥰 A guy who found her annoying and basically misbehaved with her parents and treated her like s*it just for her to wag her tail and follow him(Park scene) and god the guy continues to behave like he's the superior person and reluctantly accepts the lunchbox! If you are so repelled why not tell her directly?! I just don't understand what was so attractive about this PDY guy/ML that two females are putting such efforts for him?

Fine, Tae Jin should have been honest from the get-go with her and should not have caused her to experience a traumatic situation but as a person who continued to reject her and is in someway responsible for a lot of miserable situations(WHO DO YOU THINK MADE HIM GO BANKRUPT BECAUSE OF A NAME MISUNDERSTANDING!!!?) and for hiding about his visions who is PDY to punch him?? He is so much better as compared to PDY!😭

Dropped it at 10th episode. Just a story of crazy whack guy, a girl crushing on him cause she likes red flags and them thinking that the entire world owes them.

Also this definitely isn't about modern MLs. I have been watching kdramas since 2012 and this still remains a shittiest drama for me.

Oh my god, what a freaking beautiful and thrilling drama. Ngl, I was annoyed with JW initially, but it was good to see that I got to see his character progression. What I liked about this show is that, JW didn't trust DS, but in dire situations they always had each other's back. And it was amazing to see JW grow and seeing the bigger picture and analyse people without having prejudice, it took him time but it was worth it.

The entire manyang friends group, I felt so attached to them. Even when the killer was revealed I couldn't help but feel sad for Jeong-Je, because I felt like his pain, mental agony dragged on for so many years because of his mother's blind love. PJJ didn't strike as a person who will back away from his own responsibilities, if he could have realised earlier that he was the one who killed DS's sis then I don't think he would have lied about it. So the constant medication and locking up by his mother did affect him. And oy if she didn't hide it for so long her son became so exhausted and broken and it made DS into someone who was numb and self-sabotaging.

Lol it was funny to see JW being doubtful of everyone, I found him relatable. It was refreshing to see him doubt everyone and then realising that okay this ain't it. It felt like he finally learnt how to hold out his hand towards other people 💘.

And yes I definitely definitely ship DS AND JW.😭 They always went ~why? Do you care about me?, at each other but when DS actually felt worried for JW it was so adorable to see JW coming forward to promise that he will be in touch.🥺 They did find solace in each other(even if you see it from a friendship or family angle.)

So I was thinking…. Yo Han lost his brother’s necklace just like that? I thought Sun Ah would give it back…
I might be wrong but I thought he didn't want to do anything to Seon ah as long as she didn't become an obstacle for him? Like according to his thought process, there is no one who's innocent but he only wanted to harm people who were involved in that cathedral fire? So when he gave up on that chain it felt like he kind of broke his promise? He dragged Seon-ah in and used her affection or obsession for him even though she wasn't involved with his brother's death?💀 I might be completely wrong though.

The conflict is interesting, but the punishments in the story are inhumane. The final doesn't make sense to me.…
It was scary tbh, when so many people started supporting the bombing but I think it was shown in that way without thinking about its impact and all because it's based in a dystopian world.

I regret rooting for Ga-On. I have never seen such a wishy-washy and dumb character. When I started watching the drama, it was fun. It's always fun to see two people with different ideologies going against each other. YH believed in life for life and GO believed in lawful punishment. I wanted to see them argue but you know what was frustrating? Despite of being tagged as monster again and again YH kept wanting GO by his side and GO kept distrusting him, which wasn't really surprising. Given that YH had a lot of questionable philosophies and made a lot of cruel decisions I understand his distrust. But wtf was with the flipflop behaviour? YH asks him to choose which side he wants to be on, he goes I want to fight this distorted world. Then 1 episode later after some little convos with his professor and bestie he low-key starts accusing YH for turning him to a monster. Like fgs dude, you are a grown ass human the least you can do is say that you are confused or you took the wrong decision. It felt like every time something went wrong GO will start accusing YH. I was so annoyed with the detective girl's character for being reckless without having absolutely zero plans, endangering Elijah's life, and trying to pry for information over an informal meeting when elijah was
clearly not ready. But I can't believe I disliked GO more than her. I mean she didn't see YH with Elijah, she didn't make him dinner, she didn't see him playing, she didn't see him being clumsy, so her judging him by what she sees on national tv is understandable! But this guy GO he sees everything, joins his side, provides no help or whatsoever, informs his bestie about everything which in result creates bigger mess which YH has to take care of, gets closer to YH's family, accuses him of killing his brother, then hears his story and goes sorry~, and then goes flipping after every two episodes. Fine I get it, he was confused. But the least he could have done was to have internal conflicts but back him up in front of the common enemy? No, he trusts everyone but YH and honestly it doesn't matter. What matters is that he has zero consistency in his opinions. You know the goodie-two-shoes who knows nothing but come forward with their moral compasses to ruin a perfect picture and create conflicts? Yeah, that was him. He felt
like a perfect puppet for everyone to play with. And when in freaking episode 15(can you believe 2nd last episode fgs!) he hands over the recording to justice min and betrays YH I lost my shit. Like, I understand you don't trust YH but literally with every episode I felt he went around distributing evidences and information like fgs just sit down and think for a while? I don't understand the need of GO reminding YH again and again that he was a monster, so unnecessary. YH never denied the fact that he was cruel and he didn't believe in justice served by law. It almost felt like GO was almost lured by the eye for eye, life for life methodology and he kept saying YH stuffs to assure himself that he's still the same person. Yeah, probably YH was a monster (although I don't agree), but better than being a puppet to so many.

The only characters I rooted or stayed for were YH, Seon-a, and all the people who supported YH subtly, including Judge Oh, even the prosecutor and the PD. Man seeing K die was an absolute nightmare, my poor baby.😭

Seon-ah was seriously such an overwhelming and powerful character, she was just so sly and confident, man such a perfect character. I loved her shades, she chose a lot of immoral and cruel paths to gain power, but every time she saw YH, she craved for affection, every time she drank the victory wine, she craved company, and every time she saw girls who struggled alone she felt attached. I had bittersweet feelings about her ending. It was such a refreshing character and the actress is soooo effin perfect.

Quite late of a reply but, I felt like his decisions affected their relationship mostly. And she just went along with it, except for confessing she didn't have much say is what I felt. Even when he was sorry for what he did, and tried to pursue her, it felt like..she would give in anyway. So personal it was not enjoyable.

Agreed.. it has such high ratings that I thought it would be a good watch..and ofc I understand people like it.. but I simply couldn't enjoy the show.. I kept feeling like he calls the shots in their relationship and she is too gulliable..they have good chemistry..but I couldn't enjoy the apology he gave her after saying no for the 2nd time..she always seemed to put more efforts than he did..nvm, not a drama for us I guess girl.

Don't come at me cause I have an unpopular opinion..I couldn't like this drama..it was so highly rated and hyped that I wanted to watch. But I didn't like that fact that the guy always had an upper hand and he always called the shots in their relationship, what made me upset is how quickly she forgave him even after he gave her cold shoulder.. may be their team people scenes are the only part I enjoyed.. couldn't like the main protagonists, initially it was funny and cute and things kept happening and it made me think like why does he get to stay or leave whenever he wants to. It was so draggy for me. No offense to people who enjoyed, I couldn't.
