I have had two bad experiences with Liang Jie, please tell me she is not as annoying in this series? I really like the screenwriter but I don't plan to pick up this series because of LJ is cast as FL.
when i started watching the drama, i loved it., i was so involved that i didnt even realise when the first epiode…
agreed, i thought it because i forward through a lot but the storyline and the plot was predictable and so weirdly random. like how ML mystery finally plays out, they fall in love quickly, FL character growth seems random or she either playing whatever role she wanted at that point, like how she randomly just remember things well during the business issue.
i'm on episode 15 hoping they will figure out she the missing child but there so many things rushed that i dont like how it going....i might end up fast forward through this whole thing or just drop it.
I usually struggle with the picture quality and am a binge watcher....jdramas usually put me in a pickle when…
For jodrama these are ones I can think of on the top of my head - Orange Days, Engine, Fight Song, Umizaru. Some of them are a bit older but there are scenes and lines I often think about. For movies Tapestry and Taiyou no Uta comes to mind. there more but these are usually my tops that I recommend when people start trying out Japanese drama.
Interesting article, I usually wouldn't think that kdrama has this slice of life genre. It might be because I have a hard time with kdrama as of late. I pick up one here and there but it's not a lot. I have not seen any of the ones you listed but I appreciate how you notice these small things. I recommend checking out jodrama as they deal with this genre a lot and they're pretty darn good at it if I may say so.
A lot of the series you have chosen to watch are ones I avoid. It has been harder to find gems and series that are worth binge-watching. My first kdrama was back in the '90s when everyone die of cancer, it had such common plots that we had a list of 10 things that made it a kdrama hit. As funny as the list was, I personally think they were better since character growth and storyline were way better. I recommend if possible going back to a classic or series that is a bit older than 2020. If you plan to watch series that are newer I recommend following your favorite screenwriter, director, the cinematography, or your favorite cast because that is the only way you'll be able to watch them now. Series during the Kim Sam Soon era were probably the best, they slowly start deteriorating thereafter and you'll have to pick and choose at that point. I also recommend venturing out of kdrama, jodrama and cdrama are usually a solid for me because they have so many genres to choose from. Since you don't like angst, I recommend staying away from lakora or thai drama. There are a few good ones but most of the time you'll wanna throw the remote at the tv. Wishing you all the best and finding your love for kdrama again. It ok if you don't, I don't love kdrama as much as I use to.
why liang jie?? i had such a hard time with her other series...i love the screenwriter but I'm going to skip this unless someone can tell me her acting improved.
I want something like thisBut all the reccers have Eternal Love as a rec and that makes me lose all the trust!…
I guess it depends on what you love from this series. I absolute love the acting and the chemistry between the leads and those heartbreaking scenes with Faye's Cut off love song playing. This is one series I have a hard time getting over.
In the beginning, I wasn't really sold on the premise for this drama, mainly because of how they wrote FL as a…
Thanks to your comment, I might stick around more than just the first episode. I typically give a drama a try and if it looks interesting I will continue but I had a hard time accepting the first episode.
I think they got cute chemistry not sizzling hot like yy with his other leads. Not saying rose is bad she just very playful and cute! I wish this was a rom com totally would love seeing them together!!
Why you should watch? only one answer!Son Ye Jin. She alone is the reason. My gal worked in this industry for…
I had a hard time watching because of her character. She came out strong as a female but she broke down so easily when she got back to south korea b/c she was missing ML. I had a hard time understanding her character at that point, plus it got super draggy. I am waiting for someone to be able to convince me to finish it.
I am on episode 7 and I do like the drama so far. It is a little slow but okay. I am not really feeing any chemistry…
I have similar feelings to the way you're thinking about this. This drama is a bit slow burning for me but I find the interactions between the leads super cute. The side couple is also cute and fun to watch. You have to remember that her family is pretty conservative. You can see that from the first episode when dad went to go find her and found her at the bar. He was pretty upset and made a scene. I find it pretty funny that she calls her parent Mr. and Ms Lin.
really ask , worth to watch or not? how about the acting and editing ? (i hate when the scene happen suddenly…
I just started and let just say the first episode you'll have to settling to understand who plays what character and how they are involved in each other life. I just started watching and I'm on the edge of my seat! This is one series where I have to pay close attention so much scheme! I recommend staying for the story and the acting.
OMG I'm so glad you introduced this show. Lately, I've been just watching a lot of Japanese realty tv shows and this one has to be the most wholesome dating show. There were so many scenes where it was so cute my sister and I was squealing! I definitely recommend this show to anyone looking for a wholesome, cute, and fresh take on reality shows.
i'm on episode 15 hoping they will figure out she the missing child but there so many things rushed that i dont like how it going....i might end up fast forward through this whole thing or just drop it.
