I just couldn't get past the annoying FL character. Gave it 5 episodes only because PJY as he is a good actor and his character is nice. but FL is so dull, expressionless and not relatable at all. Had to drop it.
Drama did have some great moments of laughter and warmth. But very disappointed with how the story wrapped up. Perfect Example of a glorified shallow relationship. 2 people bond over very serious life issues and break up at the slightest inconvenience. The depth portrayed initially between with main couple doesnt get justified if makers decide to end like this. Just because you might be disappointed by each other in the future should never be the reason for calling off a relationship. Thats cowardly. Anyway True love according to me was of Ko Yu Rim and Ji Woong whose relationship stood against the test of time and distance.

I agree. I dint like how such serious mental health issue was depicted in a frivolous way. I wish they could have showed it with more seriousness and addressed it with medical help. that would have made the drama justify that love and care leads to healing. a little disappointed as I was really looking forward to this drama.

I totally get what you are saying. I was with you on the same page until episode 6. but I think with the moments they have spent together, she is playing dumb that she is completely unaware about how he feels for her.. I agree he hasn't told anything but that's coz he thinks she is married. But a woman easily gets to know when a guy is attracted to her. I guess with episode 7 and 8 ,the makers have made this whole misunderstanding and her being so oblivious reach to a point where it's impacting his mental health and he is also being delirious ( you know that scene where he thinks he is like his father. that scene broke me) it's not fun and games anymore :(. Hopefully in the next episodes things will clear up.. I just wish she could just tell him because by now, she knows him well and she should know that he would understand her being her team leader.

Everything about the drama was great! I was expecting a much grander showdown between JCW and D.O in the last episode but it fell a bit flat. I felt like they did it on purpose as it might have another season.. Both JCW and DO have done really good acting.. show isn't boring at all so give it a try!
Surprisingly, my views on this drama differ from others. I actually liked this drama. I liked the portrayal of reality and how relationships strains when life takes over your entire being. I also can relate how one person's decision of not communicating issues under the assumption that it's better for the other person leads to disasters. For real, if there is a difference in financial strength in a couple, it strains the relationship. I could totally resonate how the FL character must have felt when she was saving everything to pay off debts. The best aspect of this drama is that it is showcasing that not all days are rosy in life and love. I found ML extremely cute and adorable. overall a good drama. Was it dragged? Yes. It could have been consolidated to just being 20 or 25 episodes. Nevertheless I liked the drama.
KHN and his comic sense is super good in this drama! also the other actors working in jungjae restaurant are also very funny. I just dint like the Female lead's acting for some reason. it dint feel natural to me. The story line took a bit of a downfall after episode 4 for me. I dint think the parallel story of saving murir/chef or her past added anything to the current story. I wish they just skipped all that and had her ex ( who is one of my fav actors btw) come as new head chef at Han Sun woo's restaurant. Followed by a brilliant face off between Jungjae and Hansang restaurant would have been the best way to move forward with the story. infact there wasn't any necessity of showing him as her ex at all. They could have just been best friends in the past equally good in their cooking skills and now both competing against each other in a healthy way would also have been a great storyline. Anyway I will still finish the series since it's almost ending but just wanted to share my views.
