Lol! I only knew about PBG. The rest were all big surprise!! Amazing to see big names there, GY, SJS, SHK, HHJ,…
I think it really depends on their agency and the actors’ preference as there are a lot of popular actors that didn’t host music shows when they started off. Depending on the actors’ talents some just opt for cameos in music videos, modeling or just doing CFs. Especially since being on a music show as a host means you need to be decent at presenting and have some musical talent for special performances.

one of my favorite dramas misaeng is the 26th highest rated drama. But it got 8.2%, so considered not good enough…
It's true. The rating mainly takes into account whether South Koreans who pay for cable like to watch the K-drama when it was airing, which is quite a specific sample group for a specific time, and by no means represents all K-drama viewers' opinion. I think the viewership ratings are helpful in providing a system to compare K-dramas, but the flaw is that there will be underrated (and overrated) dramas as the rating is affected by many surrounding factors (e.g. popularity of actors, intensity of promotions, budget, when the drama airs, unforeseen circumstances when airing). Personally, I recommend using the ratings to choose dramas only for people that don't know what to watch and don't have much preference on the genre. As you mentioned, low ratings really does not equate to a bad drama.

You missed out OCN. Where does that fit into all this? Because at least half of my favourite dramas are from OCN.
There are actually a lot more cable television channels that broadcast dramas (e.g. OCN, MBN, TV Chosun) that is why I mentioned the two biggest cable television channels as examples but not the only channels of cable television. Regarding any other cable television channel, everything is more or less the same so this article can be applied to them as well, other than the fact that there may be fewer K-dramas airing each week. For their respective official YouTube channels, just search the channel name and you'll find it.
