Is it just me or is the plot really confusing??? I finished episode 1 and got totally confused like heck.
This was adapted by a web novel and it has atleast 4 books that I know of, which combined have a lot of drama. So I believe they rushed through a little bit with Solo and Gui's relationship development (mainly because they have solid chemistry) as they are now gonna introduce all the obstacles and stuff. I don't know whether there will be a sequel or not but either way they gotta bring in the antagonist earlier or it will be like 2gether the series where they brought in Sarawat's first love in the last couple of episodes, rushed through the breakup & makeup and basically ruined the finale. If you are still confused the 1st episode was basically this- -Solo has a hard time sleeping because of his parents/sad backstory -he goes out in the middle of the night, it starts raining and he finds Gui's cafe and goes in. -they meet & are attracted to each other -Gui gives him warm milk (an off menu item for his bae) which helps Solo to sleep (which is why he keeps returning to Gui's cafe everynight and also why Gui keeps the cafe open late) -Also Gui finds out Solo is one of his college Juniors, Kao is Solo's friend who was also out the same night and met Phu & fell for him (who is Solo's cousin I believe) - There is a 3rd couple which is the 2 Doctors that are regulars at Gui's cafe who are not clear yet (they are not a couple but the cafe employee Khim is shipping them).
I'm enjoying this, even with its problematic elements. I hope they actually grow as people. But wow do I really…
Teedo is throwing temper tantrums like a 7 year old kid who wasn't given his favorite cookie or something. I was like why couldn't he just tell people that he is super sensitive to sounds, I feel like that would have solved so many of his problems.
They say it's not a BL but after watching the first two episode, come on you kidding me right? the BL couples…
I only got that feeling with Singto and Krist....probably because Singto was acting like Krist's wife, telling him to eat, getting all upset when he refused then packing him a meal anyway, trying to calm down his anger, etc. Also, the other 4 are acting like their kids (OffGun do have a lot of scenes together but TayNew don't so).
Actually his body of work is quite mix. He doesnt shy away from diff genre. He took up 2 dramas adapted from BL…
I'm sorry did you say BL......why didn't I know about this....I'm so gonna watch it.. But seeing at how it's China it must have been censored (or turned into a bromance)....probably why I didn't know about it
Yo the last time I saw Simon was in Love Equations which was like a college Romance & very PG but after seeing this trailer I don't know what to think....Damn it's like they are turning up the heat...
I watched ep 2 today and most of the comments mentioned Blacklist (which I purposely didn't watch because I read some bad reviews that said that it fell short of The Gifted series). I was gonna watch it today but now I'm glad I didn't. Everybody is comparing it to the other show and it feels like watching both will ruin the experience of season 2. Personally I don't have any complains with the storyline so far. Sure it feels a bit surreal at times (the anti-gifted are borderline terrorists, planting bombs and sh*t) but it's gifted, everything is surreal (and fictional). I feel like the antagonist is either Third or Korn but it's too soon to tell. Regardless of all that, the one amazing thing about this season is the chemistry between the OG gifted students. I love Wave's new little personality traits, Jack & Joe getting more exposure, and Time getting mentored by the OGs. I'm also very curios to know the directors backstory.
yall know any community like mdl or amino which has a good thai drama fan population ?
There is discord but it's invite only. Also they have multiple servers i.e. there are more than one channel/server dedicated to thai dramas. I'm on a bl dramas channel but we discuss non bl dramas too. Let me know if you want an invite.
Oh man those last couple of episodes were crazy. Till episode 12 or so Parin seemed to be getting slapped multiple times every episode. They made up for it by making people (especially Mitra) give him loads of hugs in the last couple of episodes. Another thing was the scene with Tawee. I felt like they were shooting the matrix or something lol. Anyway I kind of hoped he would be punished by both Khun Ying and the police just like Pam (I'm glad she wasn't killed. After doing all kinds of crazy sh*t she deserved to lose the only 2 things that seemed to matter to her, beauty and fame. Karma is a b*tch). I totally love Na and Chen together but I'm also kinda disappointed that they didn't get more screen time as a couple. Also I wish that Pa's character had been introduced a little earlier because he was hella fun to watch (him standing there just to watch Na and Chen kiss was hilarious). I feel like they could make a spin-off series on Chen and Na and it would be awesome. I feel sad that this ended but I guess it's time to move on and watch something else. (I'm currently watching Gifted Graduation).
He did not abandon her. He chose to renounce and give her to his best friend. I don't think he will cheat on her.…
Dude I know.....like everytime Parin gets seriously hurt she'll become totally hysterical but then suddenly something would set her off and she'll actively try to kill him herself....I'm like "Girl pick a side and stick with it"
Let’s give Prin some credits. Let’s not be hasty to accuse him like Mitra lol . I don’t think he will cheat.…
I know he won't cheat on her....I was actually commenting on the writers....like they are gonna make up another misunderstanding about him cheating on her...I don't watch Indian dramas because of this but I guess Thai dramas are just as melodramatic...I feel like the only trope they haven't used in this is the Incurable disease and/or amnesia (that sh*t is popular for some reason)
Ok first of all the Nam rocks. I absolutely love him and I'm cheering for him (even though I'm pretty sure Dao will end up with the Dit). He was there for her when she was having a really tough time. Secondly Dit needs to pull his head out of his ass and actually talk with Dao if he wants to resolve this and get her back. Thirdly Ann is f*cking crazy and a giant hypocrite. She wants Dit to get over his obsession of Dao but won't let her own obsession for him go. The guy didn't look at her all those years that she was single but she expects him to do that now while he is going through a major break-up. That reality check that she got was so needed and so satisfying.
it will always be in trend in Thailand..and has been for the last 40 years
I've noticed that if you look in the genre section, if only romance, drama is mentioned it usually will have jerk ML with the FL getting assaulted and sh*t....but if the genre has comedy as well it's usually better....Go with the Cupids series, all the dramas in that series are great. You can also check out Ab ruk online, I wanna be a superstar, Sand Princess, etc.
Yo do the writers not want them to be together or what?? Like this is too much....He has raped her, abandoned her and now apparently is gonna cheat on her too....what the hell...I don't get Lakorn logic sometimes... I feel like the only thing steady in this whole drama is Chen and Gaweena's relationship...He always comes to her for support, apologizes when she's mad, always helps her and always takes her side...Seriously Na needs to date him....even his mom didn't say anything so I guess she approves

They need a longer vacation than 3 days...
