P Aof is great - And he doesn't want to do the same things over and over.
He worked with Ohm in He's Coming to Me and he said that he didn't want to do another emotional coming out scene for Ohm. He said he and his sister talk a lot about it so that's why he did something simple like hot pot with Pa / Pat.
He also did a crazy emotional scene for Ohm in He's Coming to Me - so he didn't want to do that either for him.
In A Tale of A Thousand Stars, P'Aof also didn't focus on their sexuality.
I've seen quite a few BL's - The first one without a coming real coming out scene was Until We Meet Again with the friends. Pharm comes out to Manaow and Team in episode 1. For Dean, it was pretty normal with friends, no one really questioned it. And same kind of feel with other students. No one at school really cared. The coming out scenes with parents were pretty straightforward. (The Grandma was a different story - but in the overall context of the show that had to be done the way it was, and it was wonderful).
I'm glad thai shows are moving to a more progressive standpoint.
Hello Buddy Fans I came across this and wanted to share this with you for people like me who hadn't noticed because…
Thanks for that find! With Pat/Pran there were a few other instances where same sex relationships/affection were normalized going all the way back to Episode 2 where Pat/Pran are doing the post it/gift wars before they first meet on the rooftop.
Pat uses a male particle in one of the post it notes, but Pran's friends dont really dwell on it. When Pran tells them he met the guy on the rooftop, they ask if he was "as cute as me" (Maybe Louis said that, cant remember which of the 3).
When Pa has hotpot with Ink and Pat/Pran, she just asks and Pat says "I guess i've always kind of liked guys" - after they leave Pa/Ink have a convo and Pa's concern is that they have always been fighting, not that they like boys.
These kinds of pickups though usually happen after we get over the episode which, depending on the episode, may take us a few days to discuss. But it's always good to have a more perspectives and context to parts of the show.
I asked myself the same question as you a few week ago, I searched but I found nothing on this subject. Can the…
It's different for each person I would guess, but usually the stations/production companies have exclusive contracts. Nadao BKK stars can be in GMM TV shows, but that is because Nadao BKK is part of GMM.
I'm sure there is some wiggle room but not much. A lot of Freelance actors can be in multiple production companies, someone like Fluke Natouch who was in Studio Wabi Sabi projects did not have an exclusive with Studio Wabi Sabi, so he was able to also have a guest role in GMM TV's blacklist, while also preparing for My Bromance 2, and other Wabi Sabi projects (7 project/between us).
But someone like Jimmy who is new probably has a gmm exclusive, so his 3 projects are all GMM TV.
Marc was GMM - Friend Zone, Wolf, Blacklist, My Gear and Your Gown, bad Buddy 55:15 Never Too Late.
Nothing else from GMM though moving forward.
Singto was also GMM exclusive. but his contract ended in April-ish - almost 100% GMM - not sure when it switched and he was able to do a show outside, but Paint with Love is out now and probably done after April to air now when his contract was up.
I 'd like to think that Pat wears Prans' T-shirts , not only the "Friend-Unfriend" one in ep 4 part 4/4 , but…
You may be on to something with the red t shirt.
Pat never went home from the hospital. And his parents and Pa didnt bring him any clothes (that we know of). So Pran may have brought him a t shirt while he was there. And he wears a red shirt with yellow lettering on the way home (he gets out the car and Dad says thanks scene).
When Pran calls him he's in Pran's room - i doubt he took the time to go to his room, they were expecting him so he was likely dressed and over there quickly. Last time he did this, he wore Pran's shirt. So that one could also be Pran's.

It's very different here in the US though
Jennie's was subbed the same day it dropped.
I got it 3 weeks ago

I think there will be more to the parent's back story... we still haven't dealt with the Pran's dad.
