Even after completing it I'm still not clear about the sister's relationship lol. They have different last names…
i think their parents were just friends/neighbours, because she they do mention that they grew up together in the same town. And in China it's normal to call your friends mother "aunt" and not by their name.

I’m totally feeling you. I don’t like love triangles either, but from what I see in the trailer and the synopsis it’s more of the family and society telling her she should be with that other guy more than her actually struggling to choose between the two. I don’t think we should worry that much about the love triangle (at least I hope). Don’t know if this made much sense lol, but I’m kinda getting “Encounter” vibes from this if you know what I mean? I haven’t watched it yet, so this is just my hypothesis
