Am I the only one who couldn't get over the FL's voice? I really, really tried but man... the baby voice was too much for me. Couldn't get over it after 20 episodes

So bummed because I was excited about this one but I literally couldn't handle how annoying the FL was. I've watched my fair share of cringey scenes in dramas but for whatever reason I couldn't take it

I think Yan Bing Yu is definitely Xiao En's grandson - there's a scene in ep 42 where Fan Xian's adoptive father asks Chen Ping Ping outside of the TaiPing Hall if he really made up everything about Xiao En's grandson to trick him, or if he really exists (one that's not Fan Xian). He asks if he really raised that grandson as a Qing man who would cause devastation in warfare to the BeiQi. Chen Ping Ping says yes. It is also then implied that he works for the bureau under Chen Ping Ping. Cut to a few scenes later when Fan Xian asks about Yang Bing Yu's birth mother - has he ever seen her before? How close was he with his father growing up? He also finds out Yang Bing Yu is the same age as him.

Put those pieces together... if Fan Xian needed to be believably Xiao En's grandson, and if his grandson really exists, they needed to be the same age. Which notable character from the bureau helped Qing defeat Qi in warfare, is the same age as Fan Xian, also doesn't know his birth mother, etc? It may be that Yang Bing Yu figured out the truth of his background :/ Very interested to see how this plays out in the next two seasons

Hoping to read the webnovel now that I'm almost done with the drama - does anyone know what chapter the drama leaves off on? Or does the story deviate so much it's not worth reading?.
