I think he also knew by that point that she could he used to save his fellow "siblings" (and himself)…
I get the first part about his mother. It wasn't anything personal, he just sold her out to get what he wanted. But for me, I still can't see it from his side because if I sent someone to die, I wouldn't feel okay with myself. At least he should have shown some guilt. In so many scenes he did everything to protect her and then suddenly he doesn't even care. I really wish they showed him feeling bad about it. Also, the female lead being so understanding with someone who totally betrayed her after she trusted him makes no sense. At this point, it's not being innocent anymore, it's just stupid.
About the female lead forgiving him easily, obviously she does have a massive admiration/crush for him. Since…
Honestly it doesn't feel realistic at all. They literally almost killed her and she just forgave him in a second. For me personally this isn't just being an airhead or being in love it's just straight up stupid to show that much understanding to someone who put your life at risk.
1.Un Jeong was suffering from very severe PTSD and probably other trauma inflicted mental health issues, also…
I get that he went through so much trauma and has a sad past and you actually made me see it from a different perspective but for me personally that still doesn't excuse his behavior.Explaining why he did it doesn't make it right. He literally put her life in danger and betrayed her trust after everything she did for him. Having a tragic backstory doesn't give anyone a free pass to treat people like that but I respect your opinion though
I think he also knew by that point that she could he used to save his fellow "siblings" (and himself)…
You are right I noticed the caffeine thing too and it did help her a bit but it was still such a horrible way to treat her. The writer definitely tried to cover it up by showing him struggle with his choices but another scene that made me so mad was when she teleported back to his house after being kidnapped and he actually had the nerve to look her in the eye with that blank face and say he wouldn't apologize for what he did. Even if he knew she was strong and could handle it I still feel like he was genuinely ready to let them kill her. It was so messed up.
Agree to all except for part he kiss her at that time, not because he realize he love her but to trigger her teleport…
You are so right I completely agree! I was so mad about the betrayal that I didn't even realize it. It makes way more sense now that the kiss was just to trigger her teleportation and not because he suddenly loved her because it really didn't make any sense. And I totally agree with the last part I can't sense any feelings from him either he is like a robot.
I’m on episode 6 and I just saw that Eun-jeong betrayed Chae-ni just so the villain would tell him where his mother is. She trusted him, and she genuinely made his life better, yet he handed her over to the bad guys. I have never been more turned off by a show in my life. What also pisses me off is that even though he betrayed her, after her grandmother and friends begged him to tell them where she is, the screenwriter decides, just so the audience will 'forgive' himto have him go and help them save her. The very guy who put her in danger in the first place! And they made it look as comical as possible. I'm sorry, but what he did to her is unforgivable to me. And to top it all off, right after saving her, he kissed her! Because of course, he suddenly realized he loves the person he just betrayed. Makes total sense . Obviously, the female lead forgave him instantly, acting like nothing happened, and showed understanding—even though she was about to get killed by the villains just so this guy could see his mom. Tragic. Other than that, it’s a really nice show with funny scenes. The female lead is awesome in her role. The male lead needs some work on his expressions. Also, the female lead's friends are great.
Watching this series honestly made my blood boil. It’s absolutely disgusting that the male lead slept with the female lead’s stepmother multiple times and then had the audacity to ask for forgiveness. Aside from how ridiculous it was that she actually forgave him, what really got on my nerves was the writers trying to push this 'he’s so sorry' narrative—basically baiting us to feel bad for him—not to mention the brother actually helping him out. Just tragic. Personally, I would never forgive him, no matter how much I loved him. Every time I’d see his face, I’d want to gag. Some things are just unforgivable, no matter how much you regret them. Seriously, only in Lakorns do scumbags like him get a second chance, making the female lead look like she has zero self-respect.
Keifer is disgusting, and there is absolutely no excuse for hurting her so deeply. This 'I’m hurting you to protect you' act is the worst thing someone can do to a person they supposedly 'love.' If I were in Jay’s shoes, I would never forgive him in my life, even if he begged for forgiveness. From the moment you hurt me—for whatever reason—you are dead to me. Also, to anyone justifying this behavior: I’m sorry to say it, but you must actually like red flags
I love this lakorn. It might not be perfect, but for some reason, whenever I don't have anything to watch, I always start it over from the beginning. I must have watched it over 5 times, and it was also the first lakorn I ever saw. The leads have great chemistry, and I like how dynamic the FL (Female Lead) is. The only thing I don't like is that the ML (Male Lead) somehow contributed to his brother's death
I really want to punch the ML in the face. He is the most toxic and selfish person. He really deserves all the pain he's going through because he's the one causing it. Also, I can't believe that there are people who think this relationship is romantic. What was the writer thinking? Did they think they could make us like him as a character just because the ML seems to 'care' about the FL? This FL is pathetic and has no respect for herself at all
it gets worse the writer has a low opinion of women
Really? However, it seems reasonable from the way FL's character was written. He made the whole situation with her ex seem funny even though he had hurt her a lot and she did the same with the protagonist. She fired her and told him that it's not your fault. What the hell? Also when ML asked her what her goal is at work and she replied that her dream is to create a variety of potatoes with her name on it and then she got confused and they made her seem like she doesn't consider herself worthy of working in the lab. Yes, it was a funny series but that really made me not enjoy it at all.
What the hell is up with this drama? The ML fired the FL and she forgave him in seconds and they became a couple and acted like nothing happened? It's not realistic at all and doesn't make any sense at all. At first I understood why he wanted to fire her, he still didn't know what she offered at work, but then after seeing that she was the only one in there who cared about the lab he fired her? It really pissed me off.
What the heck is wrong with this series? I know it's translated up to episode 11 but I can't even find it without subtitles anywhere. Can someone tell me where I can at least watch it without subtitles?

I really want watch this 😭
Let's end this conversation here. I really cant deal with your way of thinking. Bye..
