Oh, thank you. I actually always see people praising I Told Sunset About You, but I wasn't really intrigued with the written plot. But I am actually encouraged to watch it now (I mean having a sequel signifies that a show is good).
After watching the latest episode, I am now officially switching teams. I mean, I just fell for Daon. There's a lot of clues that point out that Shinwoo and Taekyung is the main ship, so I think this is only my second lead syndrome kicking in. But yeah, I need to switch teams for my sanity. Daon is just melting my heart. Team Daon!
Ok, so TK and DO's feelings are mutual, and TK might confess next episode. I wonder how they would break up. I'm guessing DO's pleasing nature would be the main problem, but maybe Sohee would have something to do about it, too.

Well, sometimes the second lead does get picked. Just like Dream High where it was obvious that Ok Taecyeon was the first lead, but Suzy chose Kim Soohyun. I think in Reply 1988 also? I think I read about the girl choosing the second lead in an article, but I haven't watched the drama yet.
Ok, Sohee is really getting on my nerves. Like every time she's on-screen, I want to crawl onto the screen and pull every strand of her hair!
Anyway, I'm guessing that Daon would be Tae Kyung's first love (which he teased at the beginning), and then the end game would be Shinwoo. At least that's what I want to believe... Team Shinwoo even after being shaken by Daon so many times already, I won't give in on his cute smiles.
Ok. First of all, I wasn't prepared! I know that somehow, they were gonna do the breaking up scene (I watched the Jap version) but the episode was so happy that it caught me off guard. I know that happy scenes are a sign of something tragic in dramas, but - I don't know.
BTW, it's a good episode. I should've known that the fact that they focused mostly on Siu Muk and Tin's relationship because they are gonna break up. Too late, though, I'm now crying with snots from that episode... and I ran out of tissues so I used my shirt instead! lol.
I think it was realistic (Tin and Siu Muk's relationship). I am a gay man myself and I can empathize with both of them. I always thought that BL shows where one of the guys being "converted" from their sexuality was always done too fast, just to show more romance or erotic scenes. That's what I liked about this drama. I understand Tin, not being ready but had the courage to come out for Siu Muk, while Siu Muk wants to go public while still thinking more for Tin. And I love that about them, it shows that they really care about each other. Not all affections can be shown through kisses and bed scenes.
I still hate some things about this, though. First, I think KK is being a bit creepy? I apologize if I'm being an ageist, but I can't deal with him, not taking no for an answer. I get that it's supposed to be his personality, but I also didn't like Tin's passiveness. Just say no! Lastly, I hate Darren, even more, with this remake. My two complaints, I can tolerate, but Darren must burn to hell! I was so happy when Siu Muk rejected him lol.
Overall, this drama might have some elements that is not for me (I wouldn't say flaws because we all have our opinions and some might find it perfect), but I certainly enjoy it.
Can someone tell me what's up with their names? Some have two (English and Cantonese) names, like Louis (Chun Lam). Do Hongkongers just decide for that, or they have two names upon birth?
