Can someone tell me if this is worth watching? Why is the rating so low tho o.o
I'm not sure but I personally enjoyed it... if you like some thriller in an apocalyptic setting similar to Sweet Home, go ahead!! I don't see anything that could've been off putting other than some answers still haven't been answered (which may potentionally be answered if there's a 2nd season), some things regarding the characters in this show and the kinda rushed ending but... the ML and FL are badass and smart at least. It seems that many people here where bothered by the plot holes and how simple the characters where but if u can brush that aside and you just like apocalyptic settings with badass main characters, I would recommend
Overall there's really nothing too off putting imo, give the first few eps a try and see if u like it
If you look at the overall story intended by the original author, they are reborn later and find happiness. However,…
thanks for the insight!! it sounds sad but i think i may give this a try... if i may ask, none of them dies or like gets some type of amnesia and forgets about each other right? cause thatd be even more tragic of an ending...
my only complain was how dragging some eps were and the recaps for every ep. It made things a bit boring but it gets better once you're over the filler stuff lol
i want to watch this because time travel + Joongi but it seems it ends sadly according to comments and I just cant with sad endings... but at the same time I want to watch it someone pls convince me why I should watch this T.T
i want to watch this but ive never been a fan of movies especially the melo ones.... this will definitely bring me a pool of tears after i finish watching it
wait i didnt know lookism had a drama adaptation.... would anyone recommend watching this as someone who hasnt read the webtoon?? (i only read a bit in the beginning some years ago)
can you spoil the ending from the webtoon for me??
in the webtoon, they try to escape the building to another place and then one of the gangsters leader (forgot his name, not sure if he was in the drama but the ones who took over the building and threatened the people inside it) happened to still be alive and he turned to a big monster and blocked the way for the people to escape. Then Hyunsoo sacrificed himself by turning and became strong af and took down the leader. And then he also lost control and turned against his allies but Eunhyuk turned and stopped Hyunsoo by becoming some sort of slime monster trapping Hyunsoo. The others escaped sucessfully, one died from falling though I think.
Then some time goes and all the monsters/mutants got reborn and become souless people but they became "humans" again. Including Hyunsoo. He walked around mindlessly until he found a lost phone with the tune "Sweet Home" playing and got his memories back (I think). Then he got out and found his way to the safe human shelter where the others evacuated to and met Jisu (in the webtoon I think it's implied that Jisu and Hyunsoo likes each other, or at least theyre very close to each other compard to the drama version). And then of course my favourite scene, Jisu runs to and hugs Hyunsoo in the end
I may have described some things wrong as it's been a while but this is what I remember... I can say it was a happy ending at least :)
- (Here's a bit more tiny spoilers/info that doesnt have to do with the ending??) The webtoon is still different from the drama however as some characters are still alive while in the drama they are dead so the drama version ending may be different. If I remember correctly, Sang Wook is still alive. Eunhyuk's sister wasnt so sassy/mean either lol. That weird entitiy shapeshifting guy who manipulated Hyunsoo in the drama and took him away doesn't exist in the webtoon. Hyunsoo's monster form looked different from the drama version (there were no wings). Hyunsoo didn't accidentally kill Dusik. Dusik saying "I'm a buddhist" to Jaeheon when he was saying something christian to Dusik (I'm sorry but this is so iconic and funny to me lmao)
Excuse me if I wrote too much, I just really like talking about Sweet Home as it is one of my favourite series haha. I really recommend reading the webtoon!!
