Yes, I agree. I don't know if this way of releasing BL censored romances (trailer comes few hours before the actual premiere) are considered good luck to them, or they want to give us a heart attack, or give everyone a storm of surprise. CQL did it, WoH did it... As long as April is not yet done, I'll keep on sticking to the rumor that this will be released this month XD

I keep on checking a calendar (of episodes) that The Long Ballad will be releasing on their weibo page and still, they don't have (checked it again, and still none). Usually, a calendar of episodes is released after they have aired first few episodes, or sometimes before they air.
My hunch is that, I think once the calendar of episodes (VIP and non-VIP) for The Long Ballad comes, I think we could predict if HYX would come this April of not. I'm trying to count how many episodes would be released for the Long Ballad before April 8, 15, 21 and 24 (these are the rumored premiere dates for HYX)

I think that would depend on how many days in a week they would air episodes. Usually, if its a VIP, on the first day, they get first 6-8. For non-VIP, its only 2 episodes per day.
From what I observe, some air their episodes daily and some are 3x in a week. If its 6 episodes in a week, maybe approximately 2 months? And also, there are some more VVIP, where you could advance more episodes, but depends, really on what do they think they'll do. ?

I agree with you. One factor that affects the premiere date (not just 2Ha but also SPL) was because of an event that would happen on July (if I'm not mistaken, its the CCP). Historical/Costume dramas would be having less screen time on this months/days.
So, its really either they will air this month of April or they would wait for July to be finished before airing.
If this would really air on April (...how I really wish), that would be better.
