this was more sad to me than scary. felt the same sad feelings I had after watching the wailing. a family member just trying to save a loved one and failing :((
the main thing I love about this drama is the fact that it did not have to make things “grand” for them to be meaningful— it was just simple, matter-of-fact storytelling esp for samantha and the therapy parts. i relate to how the therapy was not that glamorized (forgive me for using the term) because irl therapy is just like that you go to your appointments but still the majority of the work happens outside those appointments. and for samantha, i like that it stayed as her still coming to terms with her identity instead of having that eureka moment of “ah this is what i want to identify” i like that she’s still experimenting on what works for her tho ngl i’m hoping for a spin-off centered around her. i vowed not to watch any romance drama this year but i’m really glad i made an exception for this one. i really enjoyed it.
