I'm confused, is 7.7 considered "low" now?

It's a nice drama. I've seen the comments below saying that this drama is awful, etc. but it's fine.

I've seen a few cdrama actors/actresses that have great or at least decent performances on previous dramas but on a more recent drama they're hard as rocks. I'm guessing it's the director's doing or something.

Yup, I know that drama and I intentionally didn't watch it. Don't like the theme LOL.

It was a decent drama although the pacing was kinda weird, even for a short length series. It like one episode they hate each other and the next episode they're already in love. I had to even check if I missed an episode or 2.

Still finished it though. With lots of ff-ing.

OMFG both leads are so annoying.

This drama seems to have a lower budget than most short-length dramas. I'm still going to stick to it though as the premise is interesting.

The premise was kind of interesting. I wonder what would this have been if they have more budget (they can't even dub their drama).

Just started this and this Sui Ming Wei character is very annoying. Is he this show's pathetic excuse of an SML?

People are saying they're watching this because of the ML but he's the shittiest ML I've seen. It's like if you've combined all the negative aspects of overbearing MLs in recent history and condense them into one character, then you've got the ML in this drama.

Oh, so that's why I'm so confused with the comments LOL. I thought this was a remake of another k-drama by Jung Yumi called I Need Romance 2 but turns out it was a different drama which I never watched because I hate things like this (this is basically NTR). I kept reading the "ex" trying to win the FL back but I remember that the "ex" was purposely leading the FL away from him but that was another drama LOL.

After watching Assistant of Superstar, I thought Lu Yang Yang can't really act that much. But after watching this show, I guess it's just the director of Assistant of Superstar that made her do "stiff" acting.

And I'm reading comments that this drama is "incomplete", etc. but it seems fine to me. My only gripe is that the scenes where they are a couple are too short. Even the HS couple looks fine to me, as Chinese media really don't encourage HS romance, hence why most of the HS dramas have college scenes where they "get together".

I would probably be gravitating more on Cdramas since Kdramaland these days have a serious lack of romcoms.
