I've seen a few episodes of S1 (put it on hold as I was distracted by those awesone youth cdramas) and as I understand isn't the hospital where they're at supposed to be a place for "rehabilitating" doctors with issues? So why are people complaining with LSK's character with her issues. That's the point of this series right?
I've seen people praise the subs for this series but they annoy me to no end. Like are you trying to be edgy by inserting your own jokes? It just derails me from watching the series.
I've seen a lot of misunderstanding of the last episode so here's what really happened: It's a happy ending.
ML did go to the US to further his studies and after which he went to Africa for the health relief. Unfortunately, his plane en route to Africa crashed and they lost contact with ML. There was no prank on FL with their friends. I've seen some mentioning this but this was 100% not the case. ML survived although he had to be operated on and recover for a few months. He didn't have any form of communication during this time so FL and their friends thought he was dead.
Sometime in the future, ML secretly came back and implied that he met their friends first with the intetion of suprising the FL. This is probably why some people thought the whole thing was a prank. They meet and happy end. End of drama.
I just don't like people spreading misinformation so hopefully this fixes that.
MINI RANT: What's with the FL's male best friend? Why is he always making the FL abandon her studies? I get that he had a crush on her but why is he always trying to ruin FL's future? If he doesn't want to study that's on him but he doesn't have to purposefully ruin somebody else's future. It's not even related to his "love", like WTF?
I'm the type of person who prefers to binge watch dramas and avoid ongoing dramas like they don't exist so it doesn't really affect me at all but they should've just ended this "season" before that milk delivery flashback scene. At least those who religiously followed this series will have closure. Yeah, it's most probably to hype up the second season but what if the second season didn't get green-lit? Then those people won't have the closure they wanted (and most probably why this was rated so low).
I admit that it's entertaining but thinking realistically, why do these second leads keep doing illegal things for "love"? (This is for all dramas in general) Just to gain the non-existent love of someone you like, you're going to do irreprensible things? Like really, do they really exist out there, people who think that by destroying other people's relationships that they would gain the affection of that person? Are their brains turned off or something? I've seen it so much that everytime it happens it becomes comical to me, even during "serious" scenes.
I had hesitations when watching the second season because they changed the lead actors but I do think it was a pretty good replacement. Esther Yu was a good replacement for Janice Wu and I even forgot that she was a different actress after a couple of episodes. I also don't have a problem with Mike Angelo. TBH, I forgot the previous ML almost instantly and I binged watched this series.
I'm the type of person who FFs a lot because of time constraints (reading the subs is much faster than having them speak) and to avoid a lot of boring parts but ever since I've started the first episode, I was unable to FF. I could really feel the emotion from the 1st second of the first episode and after watching lots of cdramas, I would say this drama is one of the best ones I've watched so far. I hope for the 2020 remake, the ML would do the role justice. I have doubts based on his repertoire but I'm hoping for the best.
Jia Yue and the guy (I'm assuming Jian Bai) ended up together. Your friend either lied to you or you misunderstood.
Just because they don't have a scene where they kiss in the end, doesn't mean they split up. The couple reconciled and hugged a few episodes before the ending.
To be honest I stuck to this story because of Tang Sheng and Zi Yue and they could've totally made a solo series about them but the show isn't that bad as the comments say. They probably expected this series to be heavy on the "romance" aspect and I initially did too but when I realized that it was more of "slice of life" I was already hooked to the story. I've almost missed a lot of dramas that I've enjoyed because of comments here but I've learned that I should take comments with a grain of salt and try out the dramas myself. What I do look out for in the comments is whether the ending would be happy or sad.
I had to drop this drama midway because I can't take the ML seriously. It's mostly about his appearance (petty I know) and it makes him look apathetic in all scenes and it just ruins the scenes for me.
This second lead is getting on my nerves. He's the most "snake" like second lead I've ever seen. Always prowling around the FL even though she's in a relationship waiting for the slightest iota of a chance to get her. Like WTF. I don't even know how some people are getting SLS from him.
BTW, loved the acting and cinematography for this drama. The young actors/actresses really know how to act and the camera shots and editing are excellent. There was some bit of weird editing mistakes in the beginning of the first episode (the wine glasses aren't consistent) but from that on, it was great.
Stopped watching at EP4 because I learned the ending was a cliffhanger and I don't want to be blue-balled. I can only say FL's hairstyle doesn't suit her. She looked great in All I Want for Love is You but in here she looks kinda iffy.
