This formulation, that the drama gets so much hate, might be misunderstood. The drama has a rating of 8.3 which…
Don't feel bad. I didn't like it much either. I just felt meh after finishing it. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't that great either. I found both characters to be a bit annoying.
I don’t think this drama is THAT hated by viewers even though there’s a lot of misunderstandings and misinterpretation…
Correct. I didn't hate it and waited each week to watch the episodes, but I walked away just feeling nothing really. It kept my interest, but probably in three months I will forget about it.
I found Kioyi to be very annoying and unlikeable . Even in episode five where we get his backstory, it still didn't make me like him. I felt they kept having the same conversation every episode. "I like you." "I don't care what you think I hate you." "Don't ever talk to me again, but I still like you and want you to like me even though I treat you horribly."
I felt like I was watching the film Aliens, but without the aliens. I felt like this would have been better if it was six episodes instead of eight. The production quality was amazing as always. This could have been so much better, but the last two episodes seemed to take forever and the ending was lackluster and anti-climactic.
I didn't think that because they had already told in a previous episode that his friend had a girlfriend. He was…
You’re right. I forgot he had a girlfriend. He just seemed to be the only one on the team who really paid attention to Ida and what he was going through emotionally.
a kiss would be more like a cherry on top. it’s a really good drama— kiss or not. also given how innocent/naïve…
I agree. I like bromances better. If the leads have chemistry and actually act like they are not disgusted to kiss each other then that is great. But most BLs aren’t like that. The rare shows that do have kissing and sex scenes that are believable I love. Probably because I prefer gay shows more than BLs.
unlike most people i would be happy without seeing a kiss from them tbh. it wouldnt hurt but i dont think its…
I don’t find it boring or slow at all. I like the pace and the lack of annoying BL tropes. Yes, they did go camping, but there wasn’t any drama. It just gave them time to get to know each other better. I do find Aoki slightly annoying at times, but I understand why he is the way he is. He is the only person who I wish wasn’t so immature at times, but he’s young and insecure. I love the support he gets from both Aida and Hashimoto and their own blossoming relationship.
I am really liking this show a lot. It feels so natural, their progression. And not a lot of drama, which is nice. I’m also very happy that the female characters have depth and don’t act like screaming school girls.
They're in present time but in their younger bodies.
A lot of things don’t make sense logically with this show. I’m just going to suspend my disbelief and try to enjoy it. It’s fun and cute but it doesn’t sound like a BL, more about friendship and second chances. There is a gay character but I don’t know if there will be any romance. Hopefully there will be.
