We have community service and it usually is cleaning up garbage in the streets and parks. It just seemed weird to have kids involved, but I do realize these weren’t violent offenders. I usually give a show a few episodes to see how it goes. I just wasn’t really moved by the first episode.
Does this get any better? I had a hard time finishing the first episode. Nothing about the story makes any sense. And why would they have people teaching kids as part of community service?

I am ok with sad endings if it is warranted. Some of my favorite movies or series had tragic endings. But I had to take a break from gay movies in general because when I was younger the only gay films almost always had someone die of AIDS or suicide. When I discovered BLs I liked them because they were cute and fun and mostly happy endings. And then there was HIStory 3: Make our days count. The ending of that was devastating. So I am a bit more cautious now.

That damn SUV is everywhere. I thought it was mainly used in BLs, but I’ve noticed a lot of non-BL shows also use that trope. I’m amazed at how many people get hit by cars in Korean series and movies. I usually find it kind of funny.
