This was my first CDrama that I watched daily as it aired - the two female leads, Dilraba Dilmurat & Zhang…
i am fairly alone on this but my first of his dramas was Fall In Love, and i love him in it. most of mdl hates the show but he is a genuine delight to watch in it.
do i have to watch kiss and kiss me again to understand this?
I don't think so. I never did and still haven't as I know specifics of Pete/Kao are not consistent through the rest of the installments. I think DBK feels contained enough that you don't really need a back story. There might still be some Pete/Kao or Sun/Mork cuts on yt somewhere if you wanted to check them out but again I don't believe it's necessary. Dark Blue Kiss remains one of my favorite dramas ever. I sincerely hope you enjoy it!
I'm not sure I agree with this logic. Viewers can choose not to watch a show for a variety of reasons and they're…
Hold up. I don't personally feel called out by anything. I am saying that the phrasing of your comment comes off like people who "don't want to watch the show because of the cheating" should get off their high horse or whatever and watch it because "cheating happens" or "we're all cheaters" which btw just isn't true.
I have no comment to make about the quality of a show which has not yet been released and I have no idea how the presentation of the content will be handled. I did not say there couldn't be something to learn in a series like this. A character, a human being, is well more than the decisions they make in a relationship, but I'm not arguing against that. I'm simply stating that people don't have to watch it just to get a pov check or whatever your intention was. This isn't the first show about a cheating relationship, and people can like or dislike as they choose that can have nothing to do with closed mindedness or prejudice or past experience.
For the same reason you're welcome to watch and love this show. And I sincerely hope you do. But people who don't like cheating storylines don't need convincing or coercing to give it a chance if they don't want to.
Some of you are saying you won't be watching this due to its cheating content. The thing is, it happens around…
I'm not sure I agree with this logic. Viewers can choose not to watch a show for a variety of reasons and they're valid for those reasons, whatever they may be. I personally don't love cheating themes because I have been around people who have cheated/been cheated on and I do not love what that does to the people I know and care about, and it's a hard-edged 'romance' I have trouble investing myself in. Despite the leads (who I enjoyed in 1000 Stars and as actors) and the director (in whom I have the most trust and respect) I find myself not particularly drawn to this drama and I can choose to spend my time watching something else. I do appreciate that dramas as of late are challenging the norm and breaking out from uni and hs drama, and I agree that 8 episodes seems too short to properly deal with this non-conventional subject, but this just isn't a show I'm excited about. Perhaps your intention was not the way I took this post but its presented as sort of a call out to those who don't want to watch it because of the probable crux drama between the leads and that doesn't seem fair just because "cheating exists in our reality" or "we may have cheated ourselves". And yeah ok maybe I tried to cheat on a spelling test in third grade to disastrous result, and although I'm not avoiding this drama because of that, other people having personal connection to such a story is a completely valid reason to not want to watch this... or maybe just because they don't like cheating storylines in general or don't want to watch it for any other valid reason. People don't have to watch this drama. And that's ok, ok?
Hi, I really wanted to watch this drama, but since it's rated 18+, I'd like to know if it shows any nudity or…
there is a very brief sex scene between a hetero couple and some light discussion of sex between the gay couple. another couple attempt to have sex and are fairly all over each other. there's a few kisses both f/m, m/m and f/f. there is also a very short segment with a porn film but it is off screen. for the most part all kisses and intimacy is handled tastefully; the sex scene happens at the beginning of an episode and is easily skipped.
i also second Love Between Lines!
