I think it's actually cute, it's not rushed. Its not like their storyline was introduced on ep 1. And Mark, well, at some point you can't just be the one loving someone so he feels like that, Kit doesn't do much to express his feelings so...
There are some aspects that are questionable. But, if those things are actually well developed in future eps then I won't be mad. I hope it gets better, good chemistry and comedy but there are some things a little annoying.

Mmm I think the "rape" situation was problematic and every single way. You can be a mature writer and give your audience a proper way of handling the problem. But the way she did, nope. Is a no. It is targeted towards a more mature audience but that doesn't mean it should be full of these ideas and wrong doing.

This is actually a pretty good series, if you want to see the typical girlfriend/high school drama/college drama type of series then don't watch The Next Chapter, but this series was so mature and it dealt with relatable topics, tbh.
Y'all dont even look at the reviews. People just get mad because it does not involve the typical high school/university plot. We are over that. This series is more mature. So get over it. Xoxox
