It's not only about who has the biggest fanbase or or how long they're in the industry for, but it's all about the quality of performance and crowd engagement, especially in this season since they stage set-up that they had made was to keep them close with the audience. Hyolyn has truly killed both of her performances and everyone knows that her vocals and dances skills are out of this world. She is aging like a fine wine I say.
In the last season, Park Bom who was the member of one of the most popular girl groups and sure had a lot of fans couldn't do well against the group performances. And in this case, Hyolyn is also a solo, however, unlike Park Bom, she is experienced in doing such kind of survival shows and knows how to steal the show with her performance. Another disadvantage for Park Bom I say was her health condition.

Also, the girls that we have this time, most of them have similar kind of concepts that's not helping them with rankings either. I truly feel bad for Brave Girls as their performances are great but the only thing that are pulling them back is Global Fans votes especially as they still does not have that much exposure than others.
For Kepler, I believe that this show might be a good experience for the girls. They win or not, it will be a good opportunity for the girls to make a better place for themselves in the industry.

I am rewatching this drama after so long and it feels as refreshing as ever. I am having second lead syndrome for the second time as well. Why they all are so cute?

I recommend it 100%. It has many similarities with that drama in my opinion. Both dramas have sports element in it and they gives similar feels. Both fl's are quite strong headed in my opinion in their own way. The chemistry between the leads is so soothing that I am already loving it.

Lol. That's true. She is still the same. Annoying forever. However, that's what tells how good of an actress she is since we hate both of her characters to the core.

True. This drama reminds me of run on. They have so many problems of their own going on but they don't force it on each other and just simply being by each others side.

I think so too. It must be young shim and she is taking her anger out on Taeyang because rather than telling the truth she is simply taking it all as if she is the one who did it.
In any case, this drama is growing on me since the start and I am just loving their chemistry. They look so good together. 😭😭😍😍

It was so painful to not see them together in the end as I was rooting for the happy ending since the starting and was comparing the drama to reply series. 🥲 However, I am happy whatsoever. 2521 was the best drama of 2022 for me.

Just finished watched the two episodes and I am shook. I had zero expectations from this drama and it's making me all kinds of emotions already. I feel Butterflies in my stomach seeing the leads together and their smiles are so contagious that I unconsciously smile along them.
Not only that, the story also looks promising and actors are doing great job in portraying the characters as well. I haven't watched Nevertheless completely and stopped before this ML's part could come and didn't watched Witch's diner either but I am already falling in love with his smiley eyes and dimples.
For the girl, damn. Her acting is good and the way she is holding against everyone is making me cry so hard. Falling apart with the people you had a strong bond in the past makes things even more miserable and complicated. I am rooting for her and I am regretting starting this show so soon. However, I glad that I finally got something to watch as it was hard to watch any dramas after 2521 and business proposal. I am glad that we're getting some new good dramas coming.

Actually it depends. Like last time, Park bom couldn't get the desirable votes that she was expecting, so casting Hyolyn was a luck game as well. However, everyone knows that she has much more experience in survival shows and knows how to make performances bomb, so that's experience is helping her here.
However, putting Kepler in the show was seriously not a good thing as they're super rookies. Just debuted through mnet survival show. They have good fan base in my opinion compared to other groups and good global fan base as well but that's not helping them here since the show is different and works differently. Moreover, they're literally at the bottom compared to other groups in terms of experience. The level of performances in GP999 and Queendom, the difference is very high.
However, I agree. The lineup was kinda messed up. Putting a solo against the groups is also kind of cruel, whereas putting super rookies against a decade long experienced sunbae is not helping either.

Exactly. Wadada is good but they literally wasted their talents by not using their charming points and same doing for this show. The girls are so professional, even though Dayeon fell during the performance, she came up pretty fast and did the ending pose. They're doing what they can buy if their talents were not used properly, everything will be wasted. The girls need global votes but they're not giving much screen time to foreign members. I see Xiaoting very rarely and that's so disappointing. Not only with her, many members doesn't get any screentime, not during the show but during the performance as well.

Me too. I also watched GP999 but started this show with no biasness. I am not a fan of a any group in this show as such and was rating them according to what I felt while watching the performances. That's how I realized that brave girls have such powerful vocals and were doing great but the results are so disappointing. They deserve way better than this. If they came last for next round as well, they will be out. I am seriously worried about them now.

Seriously. I still rewatches Youngeun's 2pm My house cover and kick it. She is so badass and looks great in sexy and powerful concepts. The cute concept seriously taking away the best from us. And Xiaoting? She was so damn beautiful in Snake. Chaeyeon's vocals in IU's Sea cover. Hikaru and Dayeon - rap. Yujin and Bahyiyi's unique yet well blending vocals in shoot. Mashiro's Mafia. We have seen these girls performing so well but I somehow feel they need to let go of the cute concept and come up with something powerful and well matched to their capabilities.

Brave Girls are seriously being robbed in this show. Especially because of global votings since they have way less fandom. Their vocals are insane and I watched them in the show for the first time and woahH. They're crazy. They needs more recognition tbh.

Damn. The episode was amazing as always. Hyolin is seriously crazy and rocking the every stage like a star. As expected of Hyolin. When everyone is talking about rankings, let me drop my opinion too.
1. Hyolin. Definitely.
2. WJSN. Really liked the whole set up and arrangment of the song.
3. Brave Girls. They need more votes. Damn. So underrated.
4. Loona? Ik they came 2, but maybe I had more expectations from this song since it's my favourite.
5. Kepler. I liked their performance but IDK since I have watched GP999, i have more expectations from the girls. I know how talented they are but somehow feels that it's not being properly. In my opinion, Kepler need to go for a strong and powerful song for once. We all know how sexy and damn powerful these girls can be. Xiaoting, Hikaru, Youngeun. All of have shown their powerful sides before and being unused somehow here.
6. VIVIZ - I had expectations from them even the show before because IK how amazingly talented these girls are. Gusta tu is still one of my top songs. However, I can't feel the same here. Something is lacking that I can't pinpoint.

PS. I am super excited for next performance. Mnet is sure using SWF Girls so well. I am so glad that they called all the mentors. Uwuw. Can't wait for the next episode.

Same. In the past, there were not many comedy historical dramas and had more serious concepts. However, these days, they have toned down their seriousness and cruelty and put more comedy and romance in it. From Mr. Queen and Red Sleeve, I am here once again. Although they all get serious in the end but it's still enjoyable to watch. I guess the major change is the female character who has gotten more strong and the ML are not that hard and arrogant these days in historical dramas.

Lol. I thought the same. It was such a blasting performance and the way they were crying so pitifully, I really wanted to go and hug them and tell them that they ate up the stage. It was like a concert and if they had come 1st for the first round, I wouldn't have been surprised.

Watched the results and all the performances and I was satisfied with the results. WJSN steal the show today, seriously. Their performance was so powerful and dynamic that I was in awe during the whole performance. It was my first time seeing their performance and it was just perfect.
About Brave Girls, Damn...their vocals are hella powerful. I hope they can get better results in the next round.
I liked Kepler, their choreo was so difficult yet they did it so well. As expected Kepler.
I am excited for cover songs. I wish WJSN cover Girlfriend's Gusta Tu. It's my favorite one. But whatever it will be, I am sure it will be amazing. Can't wait for the next episode.

I don't hate the ending but cannot love it either. However, I understand why it ended like that. Many people go through break-ups due to long-distance relationships and it's not the reason because of Long-distance relationships but a matter of priority. And at that time, BYJ's priority was his career and the same goes for NHD. Both were getting tired and lack of communication was fading away the love that they felt for each other. It was getting hard. Breaking up like that was cruel but things happen in a relationship and it's natural. I liked how they left messages for each other and that last hug while crying was everything. It was painful but both of them knew that it was not going to be possible.
The proposal of Jiwoong was so cool and heart-fluttering. Also, I loved Seung-wan and the way she asked for Baekho's number Lol. TBH I really want to have another season of this show and see the love story of Baekho and Seung-wan. Her love story would be cool and interesting for sure. It was a sad ending but I am not ready to say goodbye to it yet. From now on, Saturdays and Sundays will; be so empty. This drama helped me get over Red Sleeve and I am not sure how will I get over this one now.
HD and BYJ weren't the endgames but for me and other fans, they will always be the end game. For us, the drama ended when they were dating and were so in Love.

TBH If this drama had a sad ending, I won't complain anymore. I will cry buckets if that happened but I won't complain. This drama has the most realistic intake to the story and the flow of the story doesn't feel like a drama at all but watching a real-life story. This show teaches me so many things - Nothing is forever. That is for sure. With time, relationships and even people change. We just have to accept that change and keep going.
The world is cruel and we cannot change everything. However, we can surely work hard to fulfill whatever we can and should.
Even if you're right, the other person might also be not wrong. We only see the hardships of ourselves but cannot see the suffering of the other person.
There are many more things that this drama has taught me. The pure friendship, enemy to est friends journey of Yurim and Na Heedo, Baek Yi Jin overcoming his sufferings and becoming the reporter. Him working hard at his job and accepting the path that life has chosen for him.
I literally cried when Heedo and Yurim hugged after the competition. But I lost it when Baek Yi Jin and Na Heedo said, ' Let's be together forever.' It was a true tear-jerker scene for me. I was bawling my eyes out. Seriously.
