I liked the show. Watched it after early spring, so it was quite refreshing to watch this kind of office romance. But after good 15 eps, i slowly skipping many parts. I liked fl's flight, growth parts more, it would have been better if they had added more instances of her resolving issues. Because I think for this drama, more than romance, being the female pilot was definitely more appealing. She was strong, has the aura. Also, the side characters romance, I honestly mostly skipped, wasn't much interested. This is the problem sometimes, when we add too many other characters and give so much screen time to them as well, the focus kinda distrupts. But overall a good drama, should be watched.

I AGREE. I started this whole dating shows thing due to korean dating shows, first was of course OG heart signal. But when I found chinese ones, there was not going back. Heart Signal Korean is more into triangles, creating drama, enmity and stuff, but chinese ones, contestants are much more geniuine, they also do their best at friendship, not just love. And we have so many couple who're getting married. But none from Heart signal where things go smooth, we barely get any couple in korean one. But chinese ones, we many times get more than 2 couples.
And I loved S6 and it was one of the best for me. But now, I feel S9 has entered into top seasons for me as well. Because not only romance, but even friendships, people are so much more active, positive, and we can see many genuine couples here. Chinese dating shows, are some of the best. Heart Signal and Twinkle Love are some of the best edited, directed dating shows I can say.

Yes. In first 2 eps, when she kinda behaved with him, I was worried that she might not be very much expressive or kinda move to other boys and they would just miss out on each other. But damn, she literally sort her thoughts on the first day and has been focusing on him from the start, same with him. He is so much focused and expresses himself as well, he isn't vague about his feelings, so does she. Her EQ is so high, the way she keeps complimenting him, encourages him, it shows how much open he is to her than others. She brings the best out of him and he brings the feminine one out of her. Because with others, she is like a BRO! But with him, she is so soft and shy, they're like cheesy college campus couple who are always together.

I feel sometimes, Shu'er ruins things herself. She might be too scared to get deeper into things, because it's obvious she likes him alot and he does too. But I think she wants him to keep making efforts while she does too but when it's time to put name to it, she simply runs away from it. I felt it was totally unnecessary for her to not send Hewen a message when they already cleared things. Because there are not much days left, and their conversation is more about others than themselves. I still felt that her reaction to avoid him on the day Xing arrived was a little too much? Maybe that's the problem of having too many suitors. Both hewen and Shu'er are into each other but keep missing out and things just doesn't work for them. This unnecessary long misunderstanding loop is kinda exhuasting to watch honestly. Just show me my happy couple moments more.

Yes. The first season was the best honestly in terms of format. I really felt bad hyungyu got hated sm after devil 2. He didn't do any wrong but for some reason, people were after him, calling his win unfair. He even went to prison once, it's not like he was completely safe, he was just smart and had good tricks on his sleeves but again, people went too harsh on him. Doesn't want something like this to happen in s3.

They used to have similar concept, we got married before where these actors, idols come together as a married couple? They sounds odd at first but used to be so fun. But yes, sometimes things turn too ugly due to toxic fans, can't imagine that concept nowadays.

Only started it today, after finishing early spring. Honestly, it's a pretty good drama. I wasn't expecting it to be this good. The drama, their bad start, how she joined his company. The fl, i wasn't sure if I will like her as an actress as I remember her more as an idol. But she did a great job here, for now it's really good cdrama and a good fresher after a intense one.

Just finished watching all the episodes.Oh, what a journey it had been. It's one of the most complicated dramas that I have seen, in terms of the relationship between leads. However, I liked it. It showed some of the most complicated, raw human emotions. We have seen the characters at their worst, growing, from breaking up many times to final breakup to proposal. I only wish the episodes wouldn't have shrinked so much, we lost so much of context of episodes, even the breakup and make up episodes are just 2-2. We needed more of them.
The best part after their breakup - Zhitao is not a flora anymore, she loved Luan Nian as Luan Nian, not as Luke. She is not his employee, who has to worry about his mood. She is his partner, his girlfriend, she can now stand confidently with him without any judgment. he doesn't also treat her as an employee, he also doesn't have to worry that if he favors her, or appreciates her for what she does or earns himself, he wouldn't be called that he is favoring his girlfriend. Maybe that's why we have so many rules to avoid dating at workplaces, it is to avoid such complicated relationships and favoritism at work.
After breakup, she learnt to speak her mind to him, not hiding her complicated emotions anymore, not afraid to be judged by him, neither he was the same arrogant person who wouldn't speak his mind. He not only help her in the dark but also speaks to her, tell her things that previous Luke didn't. He takes responsiblity, he doesn't run away from marriage anymore, he doesn't keep plans to himself anymore. He shares with her.
It was such a good drama, first time I don't want to read the novel. I don't want to ruin my experience. Because the actors has left such a strong impression on me. Their acting, emotions, the desire, want, it's so well explained and honestly, it's so much difficult to portray in drama than in a novel. But they did so well.

The best part of this drama, there is no particular antagonist yet it shows how brutal life can be. You meet people, make connections and seperate. It's all part of life. This story is romance yet but also shows growth of flora. A girl from small city who came to Beijing all alone, living with strangers, joining a huge company, learning everything from scratch. From work to love. We have seen her from rookie phase to starting her own business. Not only that, luke and her relationship which started with a situationship, a lethal attraction, over the time took such a complicated turn. Both of them were so much in love but their issues were keep holding them back from acknowledging that love.

The moment they broke up, and she left the city, luke realised what he lost and how much her presence was in his life, she also who was on the verge of breakdown, stood up and started her business, which gave her a sense of achievement and establishment. She felt much more confident and secure. I'm glad that he didn't approached her all these years, because even if he had, things wouldn't have come out like this. Why? Because she needed time. The time have her healing what she needed, allowed her to reach out to the people who she left behind. And that luke's entry, not staying aloof anymore, knowing what he exactly wants, was the best part.
This drama has so many good things, sizzling romance, female friendship, corporate struggles and growth, if you look at it seriously and as a drama, not from one's pov, you realise what a masterpiece this is.
I'm just sad that they reduced so much of the eps. I feel we missed out on so much what could have happened, especially about sun zhou. We really didn't get to see much of his struggles and his relationship with sun yu, even flora and luke's tibbet trip felt rushed. From 4 years and 3 months, we suddenly went to six years. They seemed to add the transition there, and timeline felt little off. But again, if they had filled so much it could have been possible that people might have gotten bored if it had been dragged. I felt 24-30 eps length for chinese dramas works the best. I still have last 2 eps to watch and I'm saving them for Sunday. I can't seem to get over this drama already.

Just watched the breakup scenes. Honestly, even with all the changes they made with the luke's character, or the story, I still felt the breakup was so reasonable and her breakdown was so much needed. She has been holding so many things for such a long time. The main issue in their relationship is, they never resolved their issues. They simply walked past them and tried to be together. Whenever he says something harsh, and very much uncalled for, after taking breaths it was her trying to understand him. Yes, he changed alot from start, yes, he did so many things for her. But, he never was nice or tried to comfort her whenever she needed the most. Just because you do something for someone, but speaks harshly to them, even at their lowest, ignoring their struggles and keep lecturing them, he needed to be taught for that.
People saying, oh, he was ready to resign, go to us for her. But did she know that? Forget about this, her breakdown was not even about that. He didn't tell her fine. But he could have avoided riling her to the point of her having a mental breakdown. First, him mentioning her friend and being sarcastic in that moment was so much uncalled for. If he couldn't comfort her, he could have said nothing. When she asked for award, the least he could have said was I can't do anything. I didn't have that power or anything but he chose to lecture her. Does this lose define you, can't you take that. Him undermining her crashing out, him ignoring her reaction, was the big issue. She never wanted him to help her career, if he couldn't tell about the backend situation, the worse he could simply gave one explanation. She would have understand. But he decided to honor his opinions, him ego at that time too. His words were so much harsh that she said those words, even after that he said some of the harshest words too. He called her what she was avoiding for the longest time possible, to be called her using him, as a career ladder.
That breakup was so much needed for him to come to his senses. Just doing things in dark doesn't do anything in a relationship if you cannot support or trust a person when they need you the most. And unfortunately, he has reacted badly in those situations every single time. Be it harassment, this promotion or her ex drama. And this period has taught him that only.
Unfortunately, zhitao was right all along. The reason she felt so much insecure snd helpless in this relationship was nothing but his words and he always avoided his accountability. Whenever he made mistakes or said something wrong, he never apologised. Things always in a manner brushed over the topic and something happens and they're back again. That issue wasn't addressed properly. Their situationship was a complicated one. The financial, power dynamics, just added a huge wall between them and she was right, at the end, this relationship only harmed her in a way. Affected her career, her promotion and those saying she was reacting for no reason, need to know what it feels to be bypassed by a newbie while you worked your ass for years in a company doing everything yet nepotism takes away the credit. So her reaction was so much more valid.

I also feel he started to be in a dilemma and his dates with xiaoyu were so charming and relaxing to watch. He did seem to like her a little, especially after tennis date. And I do agree, shu er thinks alot and it does her more harm than others sometimes.
But I also feel that there is still chemistry between them, they feel different to each other no matter how they spent with others. However, I'm excited to see how this relationship ends up.

Exactly! If she has relied on him for her career, they would have called gold digger. However, she didn't do that and always worked hard,. doing whatever she could do to gain higher footing. I even saw someone saying that she didn't liked being with him but she wanted to become like him. Part of it was right, she treated him as her ideal at work, wanted to be as efficient and top in her field as him. Is it wrong? She was ambitious, she wants to become stronger in her career herself. Because she wanted to be equal to be him, so that she could stand straight in the relationship and not just be his subordinate or under him. She wanted to and has all rights to be standing on the equal footing as him. There was already financial, power dynamics between them where he was above her, which gives him knowingly and unknowingly to judge her, comment on her while she swallows mostly herself.
Their fights doesn't happen the way normal couples do. He lectures her as her boss, elder. While she stands there and listens as his subordinate. They were never on equal footing. Luke didn't wanted a clingy girl and when he didn't get the same, he has problem from the same. The way people trying to hate on her, is not because they like luke, they like the charming version of luke which they keep defending, ignoring the wrong things he does. For them, he is never wrong, always right.

Going through so many comments on insta, there was a point where I felt maybe flora was wrong too. I haven't watched everything so I wasn't sure and the context in reels sometimes feels misleading. Just watched ep 18, and honestly I still don't find any faults with flora.
People say she shouldn't have hugged her boyfriend, she should have introduced him as her boyfriend and not boss, he did right thing by rejecting her proposal.
In that case, we might be watching different dramas. Because, they only see the side of Luke, but not what she put into the relationship. There is clearly huge power difference in the relationship. Many times, even after work, he treats this relationship and her as his boss, calls her young and immature and she might things do this way and not for him, sometimes casually says that he would have her transfer this and that, makes very casual remarks on her characters, which makes her rethink her position in this relationship. They didn't started on the equal front, she was his employee, that too rookie, while he was the executive.
When facing his cold, anger demeanour, many times she gets lost as to how to react. Is she his girlfriend or employee. He could have reacted differently in matchmaking thing, she clearly told him she is going to help her friend with the event. She told him that he is her ex boyfriend, if she wanted to hide, she could have easily done that. They were there for business set up, she cannot introduce him as her boyfriend casually.
When she proposed in a way, or shared her thoughts about their future, he just didn't reject her. He said he never thought about them like this, it was never his plan. And he cannot give her what she wants and then goes on to character assasinate her again, that she has male friends this and that. He misses Shitao who was rookie, weak, needed his help with everything, but this girl is growing and can handle things himself, this gap creates even more difference. He is constantly getting insecure and this is cutting her even more from this relationship, making her realise how she has wasted all these years in this relationship and she in a way also knows she has chosen this, it is her consequence because she got in despite knowing he doesn't take her seriously.

He was the one who wanted to get into a situationship and then wants her to act as a girlfriend but also doesn;t want to make it official. You say he tells his friends and family, he only tells people around him, where he knows this won't go away. Over the time, he did change, but his attitude towards her, remained cold and cutting, never asking her first but blaming. Her only demand was him to be little more nicer, this girl gets happy at even the smallest thing he does. BUt still, people call her a red flag. The biggest problem is the lack of communication, which mostly happens because of him speaking rudely to her whenever it matters the most. How do you want her to trust him with everything in this relationship then?
He was in love with a lovely girl but she was in relationship with a man who is also her boss, who holds her future, at the same time, she doesn't know when his mood flips and he becomes rude and sharp tongued.

The more I watch, they do hit off well but their ego comes first when any issue comes up. They can't seem to communicate at all. Shu'er is the kind of person who is emotional, gets jealous and goes all out with her words. She is emotional speaker, she wants comfort from him. But Hewen is more logical and practical, he takes her seriously as well but he also couldn't understand why he was being grilled when he didn;t do any wrong. It was right on his side too, he was also trying to get to know others, just like how she is most popular in the house, he is actually most sought after in the house as well. If both of them could just try to understand that, things would be little better. But unfortunately, shu'er also wants her to take more intiative and choose her only, she feels that her going out with zhu xilun is because he is not showing interest in her, while he thinks that since she is going out with others, it's not wrong for me to talk to others. This is the stage where things can either break or get better, honestly, both don't seem to have good previous experiences. Especially Shu'er, she even cried after getting flowers and star-gazing. It's complicated. I really hope they could overcome and not just for the show honestly.

I think all the tension between hewen and shu'er is just due to communication and they keep missing each other. And in the meanwhile, the other person takes the chance and they misundertsand again. Honestly, there is nothing wrong how both of them feels, in that situation, even the smallest things seems bigger and questionable. I just hope they can sort their issue and see who they really like. Even though they do spend time with others, somehow there is spark between them that they don't have with others.

I'm at Ep 4 now and I'm squealing. Their theatre game segment where Yiheng hugs her, I was sold. Like, they're the cutest. I'm not invested in any couple as theirs. Never expected Yiheng to be so straight minded, like he never changed his mind, never tried getting to know other girl, he was just hooked to her from the start. He was so awkward at first but slowly, his personality started to show and both are honestly just like each other. Their love langauge is giving, love how both of them brought flowers and gifts, like to compliment each other and speak their mind. They don't hesitate to speak what's bothering them. One of the strongest couple Heart Signal ever have.
After twinkle love 5, eon and zhaouyu couple, I'm so much in love with yiheng and cuiyi. I might named them incorrectly, but I'm so much in love with them.

Exactly. I liked S5 too but S6 really surpassed all. After S6, I didn't like other seasons much, though we got another strong couple in one of the later seasons too, but that season either I couldn't complete. However, this one, it's so much better. All constestants has strong personality, I like how cuiyi who looked outgoing but I was worried she would be anti-romance type? Like would push him yiheng away and would bohan and they will kinda hit n miss. But I'm glad she realised what she like in the beginning itself and they gave us such sweet moments from the starting. They literally give me sugar rush with their sweetness. Even bohan, I'm glad he managed to move on and didn't hung up on shu er. The twins reveal and how they're going along this season was so much better than s6.
