So I binged this drama in just a day and now I will have to wait for more episodes. I always regret after starting ongoing dramas but it's hard to resist. This drama is so good. It's not like early spring if you expect from it, in terms of romance it's slow-slow burn. But chemistry is solid and ML is also good, handsome, and despite the age gap, I love the way they hit it off.
The best part is how career and goal driven fl is. The way she doesn't swallow injustice, but gives back in satisfying pay backs. We also see how she not only learns but climbs ladder one by one, gaining recognition from everyone. It's so female driven, the fl is strong, we see lin long who emerged as a very gray character, starts as a negative one but I was surprisingly pleased the way they didn't just made her negative. Honestly, we come across many people like this, sometimes we argue and later make up too. It portrays complicated relationships so well. 100% recommended for office dramas.

You can simply watch the dramas that have more progressive women, storyline and there are tons of other dramas with women growing. There are drama with women as elder one in age gaps dramas too. I think this drama is simply not a good choice for you. You can drop it simply, no need to become so aggressive against it. Because there is nothing wrong about the drama, it only shows a fraction of people, who also exist in the society. And there are people falling in love with large age gaps too, it's fine if you don't like it. Don't need to act so negative about it.

It matches the drama theme. It's not the first time we have huge age gaps in a drama. As they're all adults and it's not even a minor drama, with their ages matching their roles, there is nothing wrong in it. Honestly, this kind of drama is not everyone's cup of tea.

In a long time I have seen a new face as the ML which is different from others. He is not the same pale, extremely young handsome face. I mean, he is handsome, but more in mature way? I'm not sure if we get access to it. Because generally for us, we only get 1 episode a week, part 1 and 2 one time and part 3 next day. Not sure how this schedule will go.

Honestly, we kinda knew Hewen's end already. Xilun really nailed his star gazing date with her. Till then she was little confused but after that, she was also kinda into him and realised they match much more better with hewen. Her responses became scarce to him. But what I didn't like, Hewen keep distancing with LX. Like, he was also doesn't want SY to misunderstand and initially her reaction was a little too much. But I just hope after leaving the show, they could have a normal relationship, best if we could get another couple but even if not, that's fine. I'm happy with all the current couples. Xilun really emerged as a second male lead who got the girl kind of trope. This season was such a blast. I'm worried abotu next season, because the expectations are so high now.

We have so many cute couples this season. It literally made me obsessed. I came to this show from twinkle love 5 to get over it, now I'm lost again. This year dating shows are literally winning. Single's inferno was good too, this was also good. I can't wait for other shows to be released now.

Yes. Because all contestants are already sure. So they're the only suspense left, they will juice out every bit of it. I know many conversations might have happened that they could have hinted to each other in private about their choices, as it generally happens which they don't show. I just hope people don't hate any of them, whatever the final choice will be. The show is not the end of their lives, they could connect later, maybe in a better way.

Honestly, in the starting, I wasn't even into him. Initially he came as a little off, cold guy. At one point I thought he would be like one of those people who are left ignored. But damn, Si Si really found a gem for her sister, never thought they would hit off so well since day one. Like no confusion, no hesitation, no triangle, straight love at first sight. And they only get 2-3 days to connect and she was in hospital yet their bond was so strong. Never found such a dramatic couple before, all odds were against them but they found each other. 😭 We need Si Si like wingman in our life, she literally saved bohan's screen time this season.

Exactly! This is the best part about chinese dating shows, contestants don't suffer till the end. They can leave if they reached their saturation point. It's best for them and viewers too, as it hurts seeing them suffering.

They were indeed such a good addition to the show. They only brought positivity and happiness.

I think the best thing HS9 did, also compared to korean ones, it allows you to let go. Like in S6 we have many contestants leaving the show midway, it empties the house and also breaks one's heart too. However, the early confession was like a way out to those who wants to leave and kinda emotionally broke down. They get to say their goodbyes, leave officially also feels like they completed their journey. Also, some realised that they have things to work on. This season was one of the most perfect seasons I would say, only this time so many people used their special date chances, they were so sure of their choices, their friendship bond was so strong. Like there were no angst this season, it was so-so good. This season has officially become my top season of HS now.

Okay! After going through those episodes, I realised that hurdle only made their relationship even more stronger and better. Even JX also grew up as an entrepreneur and everyone became more organised and professional. She also looked more confident with him, and he also started to trust her decisions. Now I realised they did great by having 40 eps, they maintained the momentum of the story so well. Even her closure with ex and friend was good too. Best side story was Li LI and Shizuo. Like it shows how much she suffered, like when she finally fell for someone and despite giving everything in the relationship she wasn't getting what she needed, she chose herself. She also changed sm. And SZ, what a guy, he was not only a great friend but his dedication was so honest and strong as well. This drama overall was such a good watch. I'll recommend strongly to whoever like office drama, which has romance but also has growth, struggles, some drama in it.
