Just watched the episode 6 and it's crazy. This drama is really keeping me on edge. I have watched alien and human love, ghost and human, human and robot, mermaid and now shaman and human? That's one of a kind and I'm loving it. Episode 6 was more about bromance, they showed their full potential to become a bl in this episode lol. I loved it. 😂 The last cliffhanger was damn. I have read an article about how the ml is also the villain here. I'm curious how it's going to be carried out. There are still 6 episodes left and I'm curious to see what's there to unfold. I just hope this drama can keep this pace, I don't want it to be one of those dramas which started strong and then fell back. Can't wait for next episode.

This drama is really good and went over my expectations. It's been a long while since I watched a good high school romance drama which actually gave me flutters. These days I'm more into chinese dramas than korean but this one reminded me of those typical cliche korean dramas but in a good way! I miss that high school romance era of dramas and this one came at a right time when I finished a heavy historical drama. The story is unique, shaman in love and that too in high school, that's definitely one of a kind story. The actors are amazing, chemistry is good, leaves you blushing. I would say give it 2 episodes to settle down, as it slowly creates that chemistry charm. CYW is slowly getting good lead roles and he is really promising, same with Kang Yoon. I was thinking he seems similar than I found out he is tak ki on from resident playbook. He definitely has that ML charm as well. Ps. The fl being too cute is actually cute and not just annoying, which comes as a turn off for some people if it's forced. But she can play cute roles very naturally and actually looks innocent. I had thought the drama is over that's why i started today but I'm scared that I might binge watch all upto latest today which is only 6 episodes.

Oh. So this couple in royal feast was not the main couple in yanxi one? If that's the case then I'll watch it. Thanks for recommendation.

I'm pleasantly surprised by this drama. I never heard about this drama and yesterday randomly stumbled on a short video of delicacies destiny which seemed like a sub story for this drama or something. I randomly checked this drama, was bored so tried 1 episode and slowly this drama grew on me. Like the FL is elegant, forgiving, smart, intelligent, it's the kind of quality in Chinese historical dramas which is pretty rare. Where female lead is very nice, elegant and handles all shit with grace but confidence. If she protects others but she doesn't allow other to trample on her either. It's very slow as a drama but that's the charm of it. Such slow burn romances with some palace drama, politics makes you understand how torturing beautiful slow burn romances can be. Loving it so far.

Tbh if they make a book of poems/quotes from this drama, I would definitely buy. Because the dialogues, lines are pure gold and so touching and eye opening.

Seeing the hate Hyungyu is getting, just wanted to drop by and say, I'm one of those people who definitely support him. I enjoyed this season the most. All contestants were doing their best, in one way or another. Even if you don't like something or someone,but at least don't go hating on people for no reason. Because that's not just a preference but hating them.

Last season was good, but this season was my favourite. I support him, enjoyed his game, so hui and kyuhyun, loved all of their plays. This season was not only about game but also loved their bondings too, and dramatic twist and turns. People now suddenly calling him cold, indifferent, heartless while forgetting it was devil's plan itself. They're okay with others betrayal, planning and plotting but hyungyu playing his game becomes a problem, because he actually won.

Just because your bias/fav didn't win, it doesn't give anyone right to hate on others. 🤷

Ps. I wish I could get to see more of his content and interviews. But unfortunately due to the immense hate he is receiving, we barely get to see any of his content despite winning the season. It's sad how negative people can be, but what can I say. It's not the first time I have seen people attacking someone for no reason.

I'm just obsessed with this drama. Just waiting for remaining 32-36 episodes to be released and watch. But the wait is so exhausting, it's that good. I keep thinking about the drama, the story, actors, everything about this drama is so good. Especially the main conflict that they had chosen is so powerful, that many people can relate to it. Showing how important water is for nations, people and can even cause wars, betrayal, alliances, crossborder relationships, everything has been represented so well.

The romance, comedy, drama, politics everything has a place for it. It just made me realise I might put it above them love like the galaxy, mainly because all characters are so natural and relatable, their stories, their struggles, gripping plotline, and most importantly, they're ending on a strong point. Love like galaxy had 2 seasons which were equally long, which had its cons and pros. Some parts felt unnecessary and dragging, but that was for story only. Actors in both dramas did really great work and so does the writer on their own sects.

Someone please tell viki to release episodes soon. Otherwise I will come here to spam daily until I finish this drama. 😭🫠

Though I promised to wait for remaining episodes to be released and pick up ep 30 only after that. But I couldn't wait and watched Episodes 30&31 which are released on viki and now could only wait for next episodes to be released. But what drama! This is the first time I'm so much invested in a chinese historical drama that I'm watching ongoing and commenting actively for it. Like the war situation was so tensed, the fl didn't give up and used her smartness to support her man. The man also let go of his hatred and went to her house, acknowledged her efforts in adjusting to his house, tbh it was the first time I have seen such a moment in a drama, it's so real and relatable. It shows how a marriage effects a girl's life the most, from changing house, state's to even surnames, lifestyle, room everything, they leave everything behind to make a new family. Just only acknowledgement of that effort can make a great different and the Ml is doing it right. What's more, he doesn't need to be said, he noticed and acknowledged. It was a big thing on it's own, because this might look a very small but such affection and support, can make any relationship stronger.

I already got a spoiler for future episodes, and I can't think about it. 😭🥹 I still hope it doesn't happened but Ik it will.

I am taking a difficult decision to not watch remaining episodes until all episodes are released. I watched upto Ep 29 as a binge and I want to watch ep 30 but I will control myself and will pick up after all episodes are released. Because I can't wait for all episodes to be released and it's gonna take some time for all episodes to be released on viki. I'm gonna wait for that.....🤞🙈

Right? It was easily at least 9 to 9.5. From story to pacing to actors to cinematography to music, everything is amazing about this drama. Like historical dramas can become draggy or boring after a while but this drama is very natural with its flow. I like how misunderstandings doesn't stay for too long and leads somehow finds a way to resolve it. Best is their chemistry, how it's enemies to lovers trope and I love how ML isn't that of a red flag. I was afraid in starting but damn, he is such a pookie. 😂😍

He waited for a year. My boy was too pent up. During the first kiss, when the girl took charge in drunken state, it was like the most innocent kiss. I was little disappointed tbh. So he showed his real performance this time. 😬🙈

For the first time I'm regretting starting this drama. I should have waited a little more before starting it. 😭🥹 It was my fault for starting it when there are few episodes left to be released. Just finished catching up to latest Episode 29 and I can't believe I was left hanging at such a crucial point.
After such a beast eating kiss, they got interrupted by a war? He should have killed that bitch, (just for character. I hate her sm) not cutting off her nose. 🫠😭
We have only 7 episodes left and I can anticipate the best drama coming and I'm all ready for it but not for the wait. I can't believe Wei Yan became one of my disliked characters to my favourite one. His character I thought initially was a flirty one, second lead, then thought a negative one, then he showed his redemption and how his character was not a green or red flag but a gray one, whose personality is just twisted but a good person at heart?
I love how Grandma suggested to let go the hatred. I can't imagine the pain that they feel, this kind of marriage was really build on hatred and distrust but they're handling it so well.
Tbh, both of them are right in their position. One wants to take revenge for his family by killing the betrayers, one is the protector of her family, and wants to seek forgiveness for them. They didn't do anything wrong, but they're the one taking brunt of politics and previous generation's wrong decisions.
Ps. I have to appreciate the girl who is playing the white lotus role. OMG, my blood was boiling just by seeing her face, she is so beautiful, elegant and hateful at the same time. That's when we say actor did a good job if you hate the villains to the core.

I feel this drama is so good because not only main leads but everyone has done a phenomenal job in portraying emotions. I like Qiao Ci alot, his innocence, his smile, his geniune nature makes you like him even more. Actors are well suited for characters, be it soldiers, grandmother, mother, brother and aunt, sister, the whole cast, did a good job. When you starts to remember names, people and like other characters in a drama too, you realise how much invested in that drama. I feel I seem to enjoy Chinese historical dramas more often than korean ones. I have watched only a few korean historical dramas that are mostly halfway watched but compared to that, I have watched more of Chinese historical dramas that I have completed.

This drama is growing up on me. More than that, the actors are becoming my favs now. The ML is really good for this role. It's been a long time since I appreciated another actor than the ones I already like. It's rare for a ML to be handsome, cold, hopeless romantic, yet the most ruthless man and looks like it. Otherwise, many actors who are in general or such positions, doesn't even looks like it. I feel this drama will open new doors of projects for him.

Same for FL. I have watched so many of her dramas but it's the first time I have admired her sm. Despite her well written character, her acting is flawless here. Her elegance, comic timing, that sassiness, suits her so well. Even my mom said she looks like a doll and it's true. She looks beautiful in this drama. I'm watching it on binge these days, and loving it so far.

Not a fan of historical dramas as I tend to drop them if they starts to feel dragging or bored to me but this drama is going well so far. No boring moment and I keep looking forward for something new.
