Honestly, at this point, I want Hewen and LX and ZX and SY to be together. Because Hewen and SY doesn't seem like a good fit, he compliments more with LX. Meanwhile, ZX and SY qualities seems to be matching.

I feel she is thinking too deep into it. It's fine to think seriously but she has a set of list she wants in a relationship but not sure what exactly she likes or wants. It happened when you're young and new to love. She hit it off well with hewen and has that chemistry but in her pov, he doesn't have the kind of caring side she wants from her partner, meanwhile, in ZX, he has all those qualities but she is conflicted as deep down she is still affected by hewen. So she is really lost. But I think what makes her look even more problematic is, she thinks things like, if he likes me more, not if I like him. Cuiyi and others told her to look into her feelings and act on it. Not on the other person. Because currently, she is not blocking adavnces of ZX, nor even trying to avoid him a little, but she gets angry and keep grilling Hewen when he does the same. Like girl, you're not avoiding him at all, while Hewen at least trying to maintain a distance after you asked him first time. So at least what you want. They both can get to know other people, but her grilling him only, while she is allowed to go on dates and spend time to know each other, and hangout with ZX in front of him is fine, while if he does the same it's a problem. It's this behaviour which bothers me. Otherwise, I like her, she has a fun personality but don't know it's her being young or what, this needs to be fixed.

Damn! I didn't knew something like that happen. That kind of situation makes people careful. Panelists before used to be so fun. But things like this happen, anyone would become careful. Strangely, this year they didn't have panelists for twinkle love, generally they used to have one. So I guess this could be like a effect of hate trail from one show to another.

I would say from previous seasons, panelists is one of the weakest point of the show. S6 has the best panelists, they used to speak up the mind of people. They used to do skits, roleplays and ask deeper questions. This time, I even forgot the psychology panelist is even there. So show is fire, the panel team is pretty weak.

In ep 7, his date with SY, I really did like his side. Depends how you look at it, but he hasn't done any wrong either. It's a dating show, as Hewen said, they both should get chances to do what they want and should do. The final call will be on the girl to choose whom she want, but they should get to do what they want. It's no wrong in that.

I have made the mind. I won't watch today's episode. Will hold a few more days to gather eps, because this ongoing drama will make me crazy. I will check out different drama in the meantime. I hope I manage to hold for the next few days. ^Fingers Crossed^

This season I can now officially say it's the best seasons of all. WHY? Because the cast is so amazing, we have romance, we have different types of romance couples. Introvert, married couple, college campus, love by chance and one love triangle, unrequited love. And that's not just superficial kind of love. They're so sincere, so brave and you could feel all their emotions. No couples feels bland at this point. There is no couple you can hate, you might be exhausted by them missing out each other, but you don't dislike them. It's so good. HS S6 used to be my number one till date, but that has to change now. At that time, only Hougu Couple made me stay in the drama, his happy ending was the best part of the show and they're still together. At that time too we got 4 couples, but I was more invested in one couple only.
But this time, we have more couples and somehow I'm so invested in all of their romances, I'm not skipping out on them at all. After the show, they should give us a special episode to give out their current status. This year, Twinkle Love 5 turned out to be the best seasons as well and they did the special episode to show their current episode and that episode was filled with so much love and tears. Oh my, I still feel like crying thinking about it. CHinese dating shows make me really wonder where do people get such love stories. To anyone here who hasn't watched Twinkle Love 5, I recommend it so badly. One couple is like, who were never supposed to be together, they even faced heartbreak and when everyone thought it's over for them, damn, fate changed everything. It's the plot of girl fell first but boy fell harder. And the guy was so handsome and Idk what to say, just watch it. And if you do after seeing my recommendation, do update me what you feel after watching it. I can discuss about it all day long.

Haven't completed ep 7, still watching. But I would say, it's better Hewen to get the underhanded message, it's over. Because their date was good. It's clear that SY now can see what she wants in ZX but she is little unsure about Hewen, of course because of their initial chemistry. But honestly, LX and Hewen and ZX and SY suits more to each other. They have that comfort that they don't share with others and in stargazing date, ZX looked much more at ease at before, otherwise he seems to be more nervous around her. it's as if, he had let go of the results and was just giving it a last chance and it seemed to be working.
I don't like people saying that Hewen is wrong or something. He did no wrong, he was trying to understand his feelings and trying to accomodate her as well. But her undecisiveness did made things little messed up. But even now, it would be better if he could just stop ignoring LX and taking things seriously with SY. I see no hope between them now.

Seeing Xilun and SY's date, I feel it's more likely for them to end up together. Because their personalities does compliment each other and for the first time, we could see the chemistry between them. I liked how Xilun this time not only just went along with her but gave his opinions about her rightly which hit her point. She also started to notice him in a new light. What I feel bad is hewen leaving this show alone. Because somewhere he also starts to be conscious about Xiaoyu but he believes his first choice is correct. I think it would be better if he also follows his heart and not be controlled by what think is right and of course not think about SY at this point. Otherwise, he will be losing on a good person. I just don't want any contestant to leave this show in mid this season. Let's see how it goes.

So true. At this point, I love S9 more than S6. In S9, though we got 4 couples at that time, I was actually rooting for 1 couple at that time. I liked others but I was shipping only one couple hard. But this time, I'm shipping all the current couples and like the whole cast as a person. Like they're so fun and their relationship is so harmonious. The twins are the best addition to this show, I feel their entry has changed something about the show. It has become so much sweeter, calm and loving. All couples match so well.

Yes. But I like how they showed twisted female characters but made them so relatable that somewhere it's hard to hate them as well. Honestly, I didn't hated the Young Madam Zhou, even that girl. They portrayed their background stories so well, showed the struggles women faced, no matter the rank or class, they were always stepped upon on. It would have been best to find her some work or position, since she wasn't interested in getting married. But I think it was also more about them being from Wu country? Both are main issues I guess for them.

You should watch it. It's a good drama. Unfortunately, not many people talk about it. It's kind of healing as well, since it's about food and being the best chef kind of thing? Overall, pretty similar to against the current, but less dramatic way.

This drama reminds me so much of The Royal Feast. It's a pretty underrated drama I would say, as I haven't seen many people talk about it. I once randomly stumbled upon it. In that drama too, the fl starts as a maid and she also had hidden identity sort as well. She becomes the consort of the prince later on. It's so much similar to against the current, the fl is smart, knows her do's and don'ts. But there the drama is more about food, while here it's overall house. If anyone looking for something good, they can try that one. It's a good period drama.

I haven't watched that one. I'll give it a try and see how I like it. But at this moment, I'm so down with against the current that I'm not gonna like anything. Viki releases episodes so late.

Seriously! I was already suffering from early spring coma and to recover, I started this one. Now I'm suffering from ongoing drama coma. I'm watching heart signal 9 and this one together, and waiting for both is a pure torture. I can't find any good drama like this either.

I thought I was starting this drama late anyway and would have watched until it's completed. Who would have thought that this drama would turn out to be this good? I binged all 19 eps in 2 days only. Now I have to wait for every ep day by day. It's gonna be a pure torture

I just read about the original novel and in the novel, it said that she died and woke up as a maid in lin family. But I like the drama direction more, it makes the story even more heart-wrenching, more intense and her story even more courageous. They must have made this decision due to censorship about transmigration, rebirth plots, but for the first time I have seen a drama who made changes around it and actually did a better job in re-writing the scene.

Oh. Then I will find a chance to resume it. Because I found that drama pretty good, and dropped it because I couldn't care to continue due to it's ending scare.

I actually wanted to start this drama but heard some not so good reviews about his ending so I didn't start it. But I feel after this one ends, I should start it. If so many people are saying it's a good drama, I believe there must be a reason to it.
