I would suggest don't watch at the same time. Both dramas have very different feels and won't able to focus. But I 100% recommend early spring. It's a very layered drama, with real feels and complicated emotions and characters and sizzling chemistry. Watch after this one ends as watching at the same time, you won't be able to get in it.

How is road to splendor? I can't handle sad endings or open ones. I started blossoms of power but dropped it after finding it's ending. I just couldn't complete. I was curious about road to splendor, how is it?

This drama is soo good. Strangely, I'm liking the villain's story too. Won't call her villain though, she was also used in a way. Young madam, she might be scheming, did many things wrong but I love how author give her a story too. Honestly, if you look from her perspective, it could become a whole revenge arc novel. Like after she lost everything, a rebirth kind of story? She fell in love with a man who cowardly throw all the blame on her. She loved him so much, went against all odds for him, yet he brazenly put everything on her. Even the ML I liked, both got married due to political reasons, however, the way they parted amicably is not only a political move but also the way he let her go. He might dislike her alot but he gave her last leeway to leave respectfully. Even her family wasn't as forgiving as him.
I was not used to like such complex historical dramas before but every year chinese historical dramas bring some masterpieces that are hard to ignore. I never thought I would like this drama sm that I would binge 10 eps in a day only.

After early spring, I couldn't start any drama. But this drama is totally worth it. It made me come out of drama coma. The casting is done so well, like youger and adult version doesn't feel too different. And Tan Song, the way she speaks, moves, it's just so elegant, natural and she suits this role so much. I have to praise her cousin who died, jin lian, that little girl acted so well. It's not easy for kids to cry, give dialogue delivery with so much determination and you can see how good of an actress she is already. Such a complicated yet important scene, she portrayed so well. I cried most at her part.

Yes. He has very few romance dramas. I haven't watched much of his shows but he tries to do different shows and genres and as an actor, it's really a good thing. He might not be after that level of popularity but it's also true that this drama has done a good to him, in return of the efforts he has put for it.

Oh, what a drama. Just started. I'm only 20 mins in and already crying. The acting of everyone is marvelous. Even the young girls, they're so good at portraying their characters. The story, it feels like adversity in blooms but leads here are even in bad condition. It shows the bitter side of politics, whatever happens, women get the worst side of it. They might not fight in wars or die as martyrs, but they suffer the worst consequences in such cases.

I might be wrong, but I feel Hewen is starting to develop interest in Liang Xiaoyu. Not sure if I'm spelling her name right. But their dates are just so comfortable to watch, their personality clicks and he looks confident like before in front of her. For SY, I feel they kinda like each other but that attraction is slowly melting away due to their difference in personalities. Not sure who will end up with whom, but even if they do, I don't see them as a long-term couple. One want validation constantly, one doesn't like complicated romance, SY likes validation, but when she needs to show her choice, she doesn't do that either. it's like she is picking out of who likes her, not who she likes? She clearly likes hewen more, but they kinda missed the point. Both of them can and should meet others, but the tension around them is too much. At this point, Hewen is taking more stress to avoid LX while SY doesn't creating that wall with ZX, while expecting the same from Hewen. So it gets problematic at that point.

Just realised I have first seen Jing Boran in Love o2o movie. I remember watching it years ago, it was my first ever chinese movie and I wondered who is this handsome guy. Though after that I have seen some of his other shows too, but that movie was my fav, of course because of Love o2o. Now I'm realising I had first seen him in that movie. It's funnny how though we have seen a actor many times, but we need that solid drama for them to flourish like this. He was already a popular one but I feel early spring gave him the much needed attention it needed. This year Zhang Linghe and now Jing Boran, they got the well deserving attention they needed.

Oh, then you haven't seen the toxic side of the internet. That's why it's better to confirm before jumping to a conclusion. Lol.

I have basically watched all seasons of Twinkle Love. And yes, concept wise and how serious they take things, twinkle love feels so much more mature, direct and complicated and relatable so far. But S5 literally made me ship so hard.

I did watched S7 but it wasn't one of my favs. We got a solid couple but I didn't liked that season much. I was interested in one couple but again, it didn't worked after they left. I basically left the show in between. S6 is the most memorable for me, S5 was good too. And S9 is top notch in terms of most couples.

It had one good season as well but after that all weird ones. No one's seems to be serious about love anymore. This heart signal 9 was such a surprise, despite being young they're so serious about love

I really want this show to have a season 2. It was soo good. Just hope after first round of eliminations, they wouldn't have cut out so many people. I felt it was very short, compared to what potential it has. Like Boys planet survival show, it would be best to have multiple survival statges, contests. I loved it alot, hope to see this show coming with new season.

I liked the show. Watched it after early spring, so it was quite refreshing to watch this kind of office romance. But after good 15 eps, i slowly skipping many parts. I liked fl's flight, growth parts more, it would have been better if they had added more instances of her resolving issues. Because I think for this drama, more than romance, being the female pilot was definitely more appealing. She was strong, has the aura. Also, the side characters romance, I honestly mostly skipped, wasn't much interested. This is the problem sometimes, when we add too many other characters and give so much screen time to them as well, the focus kinda distrupts. But overall a good drama, should be watched.

I AGREE. I started this whole dating shows thing due to korean dating shows, first was of course OG heart signal. But when I found chinese ones, there was not going back. Heart Signal Korean is more into triangles, creating drama, enmity and stuff, but chinese ones, contestants are much more geniuine, they also do their best at friendship, not just love. And we have so many couple who're getting married. But none from Heart signal where things go smooth, we barely get any couple in korean one. But chinese ones, we many times get more than 2 couples.
And I loved S6 and it was one of the best for me. But now, I feel S9 has entered into top seasons for me as well. Because not only romance, but even friendships, people are so much more active, positive, and we can see many genuine couples here. Chinese dating shows, are some of the best. Heart Signal and Twinkle Love are some of the best edited, directed dating shows I can say.

Yes. In first 2 eps, when she kinda behaved with him, I was worried that she might not be very much expressive or kinda move to other boys and they would just miss out on each other. But damn, she literally sort her thoughts on the first day and has been focusing on him from the start, same with him. He is so much focused and expresses himself as well, he isn't vague about his feelings, so does she. Her EQ is so high, the way she keeps complimenting him, encourages him, it shows how much open he is to her than others. She brings the best out of him and he brings the feminine one out of her. Because with others, she is like a BRO! But with him, she is so soft and shy, they're like cheesy college campus couple who are always together.

I feel sometimes, Shu'er ruins things herself. She might be too scared to get deeper into things, because it's obvious she likes him alot and he does too. But I think she wants him to keep making efforts while she does too but when it's time to put name to it, she simply runs away from it. I felt it was totally unnecessary for her to not send Hewen a message when they already cleared things. Because there are not much days left, and their conversation is more about others than themselves. I still felt that her reaction to avoid him on the day Xing arrived was a little too much? Maybe that's the problem of having too many suitors. Both hewen and Shu'er are into each other but keep missing out and things just doesn't work for them. This unnecessary long misunderstanding loop is kinda exhuasting to watch honestly. Just show me my happy couple moments more.

Yes. The first season was the best honestly in terms of format. I really felt bad hyungyu got hated sm after devil 2. He didn't do any wrong but for some reason, people were after him, calling his win unfair. He even went to prison once, it's not like he was completely safe, he was just smart and had good tricks on his sleeves but again, people went too harsh on him. Doesn't want something like this to happen in s3.

They used to have similar concept, we got married before where these actors, idols come together as a married couple? They sounds odd at first but used to be so fun. But yes, sometimes things turn too ugly due to toxic fans, can't imagine that concept nowadays.
