Binged watch both season 1 and season 2 within days!! I can't find no flaws. Amazing. 10/10. The last episode where Sieun walked out of the classroom and punched the window screaming at everyone...I felt that T__T
This drama is a 9/10 for me!! Usually not a fan of historical dramas full of fighting and endless power struggles in the palace but this drama really surprised me!! It was never boring and got more and more exciting as the episodes goes on. Tbh, the female lead character was kind of annoying in the beginning as she kept refusing to trust Nan Heng. Regardless, I loved their romance after all the misunderstandings were settled. I loved LYT portrayal of SYM relatable character and hilarious antics against LYN character (aka NH). This was my first LYN drama and I really enjoyed watching him!! I'm a fan now! I loved how his tough and murderous ML character gradually softens as he fell in love with SYM!! He deserves better from everyone!! I felt the emperor was too cruel towards him. It was a bit sad to see CGH became so extreme and escalate to the point of no return. Anyway overall, good development with the characters. I thought it was going to be a tense and serious drama, but the comedic moments (for all characters, main and supporting) was really entertaining for me HAHAH. The supporting casts were amazing!!! (especially Shang guan he, FuGui, Jixiang and Shi ba dian Xia!!) But I am confused over the part about the "duan dao zhi fa", the search for the making of the sword, everyone seems to just suddenly forget about it??? I wish they had show Nan Heng in his modern outfit when he travelled to the modern world! ><
I wish that the last episode there would be more lovey dovey scenes of them!! 🥹 But I don’t understand the time travel part. And why did Xiao Jing Shan gave her that device? Can anyone explain??
