i actually don’t mind. I just skip past them. Makes the lead couple scenes exciting and not dragging. I just pretend it’s a ten episode drama of Binbin and Sun Yi. I agree with poor writing but the couple lead makes it tolerable.

I just forward to their scene so i watch the first 16 episodes for 2 hours. Then it starts to get so good witg the main couple from episode 19. Mature relationship that is not cringey. Glad I did not drop it. I just don’t have it in me to drop Binbin.

i think most viewers prefer romamce in anything they watch... so the fact theu didnt lived happily ever after was a no no for them... not even digesting the fact that them ending up that way is the most logical ending given their history
