A theory I came up with regarding Ziqi's parents from the info that we got until now (SPOILERS AHEAD):

Looks like late Marquis Qinghuan could be Ziqi's father. We also got that scene at the end of the water demons' arc where the late Marquis and a woman (his demon lover and Ziqi's mother presumably) were naming the two waterfalls at Qilin mountain. Now the question is if the Resentful Woman is also Ziqi's mom... Maybe she became resentful after the Dowager Consort Zhao destroyed her home and made her lover loose his memory and die. The Mu's could have been involved in this whole scheme as well, maybe that's why the RW annihilated them. Now it's weird that she left Ziqi behind after that. Maybe she didn't recognise him or she was that clouded by her revenge that she didn't care about him anymore?
Now I'll have to watch all available eps again to see if I missed any clues 'cause I'm way too invested :)

It's not a bad drama... Also since it's all out u can binge watch, so less chances of getting bored. However, personally I don't find Yeo Jin Goo to be that great of an actor, most of his characters are similar and his acting is kind of flat, but IU's acting here is good and her character surely brings most of the fun ... I watched it while it was aired, so I don't remember if it had any boring parts as it's been too much time ago, but I finished it (I also drop dramas a lot :P )... You could give it a try, it's all up to your standards :)
