Thanks. I'm not sure if I'm in the mood for a sad and tragic drama, those get stuck with me for a long time. I'm still not over Bloody Romance, and I watched it over 2 years ago. The cast is impressive. I'm seeing lots of familiar faces, so it's not likely I would be able to ignore Ruyi for long. I'm looking forward to seeing Zhou Xun acting. She's on my list of actresses to checkout work of, and I haven't had the chance yet.
Idol & Romance (YouTube) started streaming this with (non-embedded) subtitles. The English ones are likely the usual machine translation, so maybe wait for the sister channel, Fresh Drama, to upload it with proper English subtitles. edit: It's now on Fresh Drama. And it looks like there's a director's edition, which is also being uploaded by Idol & Romance at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRBClVey5BqwQYUy8bT6aWZmIduIZLA4Z. I'm not sure if we need to add a dedicated page for the director's edition. I've seen that it was done for other dramas.
Apparently it was produced in 2016. 30ish yo Xin Zhilei looks much younger than her actual age. I pretty sure her voice is dubbed by a younger voice actress, and it's actually quite alright, but I miss the deep and low voice of Xin Zhilei . I only skimmed through the first episode, but it looks like the usual romcom, nothing very special. It's visually pleasing, lots of light and colors, soft image/filters, and at least in the YouTube upload the image quality is very good. If you're a fan of Xin Zhilei, then you probably don't want to miss this, as the photography in her other works around the time seem a bit different, or at least the others I checked.

Totally agree. I've been dropping too many romcoms lately and didn't bother watching them till the end, but this one I enjoyed watching, This probably won't enter my top-10 romcoms, but I will definitely check future works of the cast.
I just finished it, and I can conclude that this one is a must-watch. Very few get a perfect 10 from me, this one does, definitely one of the best of 2021. A warning for the cautious: it will leave you longing for more.

Here I'm quite certain a voice actress was used, as she has a very different voice than Xin Zhilei's.
