It is not plot hole, Bai Qian character truly lacks of motherly instinct. Her whole stories already showed it.It's…
I agree, not everyone is a good mother -- I see that everyday in real life. True, it is refreshing to see a mother not written in black-and-white.
Plus, after losing Ye Hua, she was like a walking corpse for a long time. We all saw how she preferred to just sleep her depression away during the day while only waking up to drink water at night -- just so she can dream of him in order to cope with the loss.
So, A-Li was definitely in a better place in the Heavenly realm because BQ was in no condition to tend to him.
Started this today. This is were I should start, right? xD I don't know why but I was nervous to watch this one.…
If romance -- heart-tugging love story -- is your priority, then you definitely should watch this. Plus, very well done character development of the two lead characters. Strong female lead and genuinely selfless male lead.
Mark Chao's portrayal of Ye Hua put this drama at the top of my list.
There is no dispute that HJP is a better option. But it's also true that in reality you can fall in love not because…
Characters in their 30s are not considered in their "youth" so let's not use that youth drama excuse. Youth is teenage to mid-20s. Dosan's dad called him a useless 30-year-old in the earlier episode, so we know he ain't no 20-something.
I was just thinking, loving someone as intense as NDS can be tiring. It is clear to me that NDS loves SDM more…
Oh damn, when you pointed out how DM's mother depended on the rich husband after ditching DM's dad, I feel like DM has some daddy issues here.
To DM, I'm sure her dad is a role-model; a man who strived to start his own business regardless of how difficult it was. Hence, she's always stubborn about how "her choice" was the correct one. So... maybe she idolizes Dosan in the same way since he started his own company in humble beginnings (granted, he didn't have to suffer as much as DM's dad).
While JP is similar to the rich husband; he's set with wealth and fame at the time DM met him. Funny enough, we all know how hard JP had to work (with much more difficulty compared to DS), but none of the other characters do (besides grandma).
The Purportedly Rape SceneMany viewers begin to condemn and hate the Bo Wang (Prince of Bo) character when they…
A lot of viewers tend to forget this is ancient China; social norms were completely different during that time. Plus, these scenes were purposely filmed to tell a story -- a work of art. To simply deny such atrocities occurred in history is willfully negligent.
Like Si Yu; she's a pretty tough and assertive lady while being funny as well.
Or Dr. Shiyi; a good friend and colleague with a sense of humor.
And oh-em-gee YoYo is adorably funny.
(Unless it blows my mind somehow -- doubt it)

Love-triangle like the Twilight series but i think Twilight had better character development and story than this.
