It was going fine until LFN had to leave and divorce LR for the simplest of reasons....and she stayed away for…
I agree, they could've at least make the separation reason more dramatic, so the 6 years would be more believable... On the other hand I've seen people not recover from heart break even after a decade has passed
I just don’t understand the mom’s action in ep. 24. Someone offer me perspective in support of it. If my spouse…
Agree with you! The mom was being selfish there. I try to understand it from the perseptive of being poor and finally her son has an opportunity to further his studies and by that he'll get more respect? I'm not sure tbh Did she think of it as his wife is supper rich and this is an opportunity for him to gain status and not be in her shadow????
I'm still at ep 16, so i dont know but it deosnt look like it. Usually the ones who'll have a ramnce the story focuses on them more. Er fan didnt have mich screen time. Like i suspect the other doctor, Tang Ping, and Fang Ning's brother will probably have. I suspect Tang Ping will end up with one of these 2.
Probably more people watched it now since it ended. There are some who can't wait for subs and episodes but rather binge watch the whole thing once it's done.
Can someone explain these points for me, it seems I missed somethings
Is the mastermind, who wants to kill XuJin, Fu Rong's father? Is XuJin's brother working with Fu Rong's father? Also I'm at ep 8, when will the romance pick up? Or when will we have more screen time of the main leads together?
I like the idea of the show, I fell in love with Simon Gong after this drama. But good god! The FL's character is so annoying and stupid, I can't even. Here is an idea what if they make FLs more intelligent... What a crazy idea, I know. I really would like someone to explain why most Chinese dramas have a really stupid female as a lead. It isn't funny or cute
When I'm watching dramas, the characters are one of the most important things for me as I'm deciding if I want…
So far, I don't see the ML as arrogant and rude, he's childish at times because the FL is oblivious to his feelings. The FL is scarred of the bullying she went through in highschool because she used to be fat and her father sells/makes lingerie. But she is goal oriented and passionate. She wants to make it on her own. But I'm still at ep 7 so there's more to see. I like how light-hearted and funny it is.
I'm tired of the classical contract marriage plots, where whenever the couple falls in love the written contract gets revealed. I hope it won't happen here... I have high hopes for this one
This is both a reply, but also some other thoughts I've had watching the drama. While I get the ML's point of…
Agree he's not the victim, or at least not the only victim here. But also how can he tell Anna about the whole situation on the phone... It needs a lot of explanation and talking to resolve this. I like how they wrote the story so far. As you said it is realistic. He's not an angel. Thank god there is the wise grandma there to push him to the right path. Also a story with a perfect male lead who does no mistake can get boring, especially with a plot like this. One angel is enough here lol (and that is Jia Xin). Anna isn't perfect either, taking someone who gave you everything and always was there for you for granted isn't a good trait. He traveled across the world for her, but she stood him up 11 times... He could have handled it better, especially the custody thing. But understandable, at that time he didn't know Jia Xin that much so he would trust that he can provide and care for the child better. One would argue how could a mother agree to that, and that's heartless of her. But she knows very well that he can provide for the child and give them a better chance at life. Again the whole situation isn't ideal, but totally understandable and people do act like that irl. Probably the only thing that was a bit over the top for me is how the grandma loved the mother and welcomed her to the family right on the spot...
