And also perhaps because in TLT 1 apparently Yang Yang stole the show with his strong character, the producer did not want it happen again in TLT 3. Thus..his screentime was reduced. Even his fightscene got cut (ep 21).

Xiao Ge will still accompany Wu Xie until the end of the episodes. Well yes...his screentime was replaced by other supporting characters. I wish that there will be a drama or a side story of zhang qiling (with the same awesome actor...Yang Yang or Huang Jun Jie), his age is nearly a hundred, I am sure his story is abudant

Perhaps people want more of his action. Tbh, I myself interested in this series started by Yang yang who potrayed Qiling's characters in TLT 1, because his character was quite unique, realistic, and not just randomly easily forget action artist who kicked and punched in set of storyline. This character has style and mysterious way that attract audience to watch.

TLT 2, the proportion of ZQL story was longer than TLT1, but unfortunately the shoots were not quite memorable as TLT1 (it was also because fans disappointed of not using the same actors).

In this TLT3 reboot/reunion, we mostly appreciate the director/producer casts Huang Jun Jie as ZQL because he has quite the same attire as Yang Yang when he was quiet/ in poker face. But well, the lively interaction of the trio...Iron Triangle was best potrayed in this TLT3. Wu Xie, Qiling and Fatty got best casts, the actors were great in soulmate relationship both in scene or off set. Of course the story was about Wu Xie, but Qiling has particular place in the heart of the audience.

I wish that there will be a side story or drama of Qiling, well...his age was already near a hundred, his story I am sure is abudant
