The score should be ignored. If you can't handle mature themes, don't watch.

Watch this if you are someone who can handle adult themes. This one is definitely not for the weak. I watched despite the rating and thought it was a great drama!

I really enjoy the show but sometimes when Pond is acting it literally sounds like he's reading from his script. His line delivery feels empty and unnatural at times and it throws me off.

I like both the fl and ml. I also like so ra and the lawyer as well. The plot definitely took a nose dive towards the end but it was okay for the most part. Some of the direction as far as the fl becoming very theatrical with her expressions became very cringe in my opinion. I don't like how some watchers say that the fl became "weak" when facing the ml after he found out who she was. It's like you want her to be stiff, cold, and calculative her entire life? She's in love and suppressing her emotions, any human being will be vulnerable in that state. Strong characters being vulnerable does not make them weak, it makes them human. For me, most characters are on the same wave length, they are damaged and just too far gone. There are a lot of people unnecessarily hating the male lead because he's an older man who they deem unattractive, but to me he's kinda hot lol. The ml and fl were both toxic but I enjoyed their chemistry.
There has to be a understanding if you want to watch this drama. The characters are sad, lost, and conflicted. They are not perfect, you can't walk in with biases and you have to be open minded. If you despise drama themes that have sex and adultry, this drama is not for you. If you're looking for a beautiful rose colored romance, this drama is not for you. The drama was okay, I watched with no bias towards any of the actresses or actors and I enjoyed the story for what it was.

Like some others on here, I personally feel the writing and pacing of this story is down the toilet. Some are saying that viewers like me " don't get it" as far as dept and meaning, but a lot of us can see the moral of the story lol. You don't have to insult our intelligence, some of us just aren't buying what they're selling.

Thank thee lordt I had patience and waited to binge-watch this because I would have FOR SURE had a heart attack…
I knew there would be little steam with the 13+ rating, which equates to a PG rating. If it was 15 + they would have definitely upped the steam😁

i want tae to get jealous hahaha
Season 2 would be nice but there is a possibility it could ruin their story. I'll be satisfied with extra eps.

Yes, I would love to see Tae jealous to make up for some of Shinwoo's suffering lol!

I want special episodes! It hasn't been done for k bl yet but I feel like this could really use 1 or 2 eps to explain some gaps. I need more of Taekyungs perspective and more of how he fell for shinwoo. They literally skipped a whole year of their relationship. One thing I didn't like is that the writer trimmed some of their romance development to drag the triangle🙄. The triangle was good but I would have shown a clear dipiction of Taes feelings growing for Shinwoo in the last 3 to 4 eps. They did show some but it wasn't enough for me. After seeing how much shinwoo suffered, I wanted to see Tae fall hard for him. I wanted scenes of tae being everything for shinwoo. Instead we got more of shinwoo being jealous and the writer purposely making misunderstandings for the sake of giving the audience angst. Still a 9/10 for me.

Since the writer likes peek-a-boo flashbacks so much, there better be one of Taekyung falling HARD for Shinwoo. That's the only way I'll feel somewhat satisfied after dragging this love triangle through the entire show. I get that angst is used to keep the audience on our toes but overdoing it leaves no room for satisfaction in the end, more specifically for some of us rooting for Shinwoo.

Round of applause for Namgung being Shinwoo's and Taekyung's personal wing man. He has been helping and rooting for them this whole time. I mean he has done so much for all the characters. What an amazing guy!

I just want to point out that in ep 12 in the classroom scene, Shin woo has a mariner sweatshirt on and there is a statement that says "turn steering ship wheel", I dont know if the director did this to symbolize a turn of events, or metaphor for the "ships" that the audience has, as in a shift in character relationships. Its just something I noticed and have seen done in other shows where they have hidden gems that may foreshadow upcoming events. If the director did intend this, then I think its really cool😎!

Alot of the times when tae and daon had interactions, who was always a camera scroll away? Shinwoo! I feel like the interactions that shin and tae have are far more dynamic. They have a range of emotions shared. They laugh, they cry, they tease, they comfort, they are vulnerable, they've been awkward and embarrassed together. Im not saying that daon and tae have not had their moments, it just seems like shintae have more significant moments.

I feel like the writer gave them time to become good friends who will become lovers. Its hard to see because tae has not shown any significant romantic interest thus far and he still has feelings for daon. What he IS showing toward shin is curiosity and exhilaration. He keeps saying things like, (this is not word for word) , I didn't think you would like this, I cant believe those words are coming from you, I didn't think you would do that, he is impressed and liking his discovery of shinwoos different sides. I feel like once tae and daon become FRIENDS again tae will begin to feel the difference between how he is with daon and how he is with shin. I hope that his moments with shinwoo allow him to feel something new that would stir him more than he could ever imagine. We may not get this until the last episode, if this is how the story goes.

I must say I feel like the writer made the first lead (shinwoo) come across like a second lead on purpose. Usually the second lead looses out but in this case the somewhat second lead will get love in the end. I feel like shin being with tae would be so satisfying almost a bit tearful if done right. We're rooting for him and to see someone who is selfless and someone who doesn't give himself enough credit, finally get what he wants would be so heart warming. Also tae getting someone who I believe will whole heartedly love him unconditionally would be so beautiful.

lolll why are you so offended over that? I’m an Asian-American and she’s right most of them wear shoes inside…
I don't think its your place to tell someone what they should or should not feel offended by. It doesn't matter that it doesnt offend you, it offends her. That's what SHE feels, you cant try to tell her otherwise. I dislike when people disregard others opinions for their own.

I think it was extremly corny and ridiculous for her to jump in front of that knife. All of sudden she can risk it all for him? Makes no sense. Other than that I am enjoying the show so far.

Some people cant stomach abrasive and flawed character's like the female lead but I enjoyed her complexities, it was quite entertaining. The revenge plot was done pretty well and is one of the main focuses of the show.

This show is not ment to be a romance, romance is a subplot. Even as a subplot, I did not like the screenwriting for the romance of our main leads. I felt she was in a one sided love nearly the whole show and the screenwriter focused too much energy on the Ml and his first love. Some people explain how he felt from the webtoon however in my opinion that was not portrayed well in the screenwrite. Consiquently, we lost any type of romantic development between the leads. In the end it felt rushed and just out of place. With all that being said I did enjoy the show and will watch again.

As always don't base your decisions on whether others like it or not, watch for yourself and see if you like it, you never know!
