So the last puzzle that we need is the backstory of how ganghwa and minjung.got married because it plays important part for them.

And looking at the preview it implies that ganghwa also had feeling for min jung and that will be so interesting.

I must say not a babysitter but like someone who try to learn to be a mother but still not good yet. It also had to be come with motivation she was also not an expressive person maybe thats why she looks like robot. Aarggghh need the backstory of minjung more

But i admit he is really stupid and well from the start the producer hint him going to evil side when his character relationship got half jangga half danbam

Min jung is not a bad mom for seo woo.

I dont agree with that.

She care about her alot but it just she couldnt give her care like other parents.

She actually tried to help identify seo woo problem ( rarely talk ) and bring her to doctor secretly. She also treat her pretty well imo.

We also see her weak side that she hold every talk other mother about seo woo and her. And act tough only to let it all out by drinking to relieve the stress.

We see that seo woo also love min jung by her interaction.

And ofcourse the unexpected strawberry that yu ri tought is seo woo favourite but min jung never give it because she knew that seo woo is alergic to it. It shows how she knows about seo woo and care for her so much.

And for those who wonder why ganghwa remarried i do think it help that Yu ri mother cut ties with him completely and let him be with seo woo alone so he wont suicide. And that help him.immensely to reach peace with yuri death ( 2 years ) it help him to get his life back. Before he was just soulless person that have no reason to live. But because of yuri mother strict decision he can have his own life and be happy again.

Yu ri mother knows it come with a price of her family cant see seo woo again but in exchange, seo woo and ganghwa got to enjoy their life again ( remember this is all before yuri come back to life so ofcourse now it is look stupid but before it is really meaningful for everyone )

Oh min jung character is so interesting and i cant wait to see more of her.

You know that girl who seems closed to other but deep inside is soft enough.

And the way she hug seo woo i dont think she dont love her. She may think that seo woo just like her own child by the way she took care of her but it just not the usual way of taking care of kids.

So i guess the reason she ask pick up helper to pick up seo woo because she was going into divorce office? But yeah it can be felt that she may actually love both gang hwa and seo woo but once again you just couldnt replace kim tae hee atleast in gang hwa heart.

But being gang hwa it is on lose lose situation happen.

He was going to kill himself in early year of yuri death. And yuri parents couldnt stand that instead ask him to take care of seo woo alone and never come to their house again ( in exhange of not meeting seo woo they instead let him to have his life and not suicide in pain )

After some years he finally remarried and had enjoy his life more although we can see he is just running from reality. He still couldnt do his surgery because of the memories of losing yu ri.

And yuri mother :((( she act tough in front of the family and gang hwa so that she dont show her weak side when alone. The cry scene and the epilogue :((

Need more background on How min junh and ganghwa got married tho and then we have the background set firm.

JGW will slap JYS. And then PSR will come to her rescue and punch jgw back. And then after some political things jgw will go to jail. And we will had our time jump ( next week )

i know that some hate one and another. i myself support yi seo but the comment here some just too much. i also see some bad comment to soo ah aswell.

if u guys want to give thoughts atleast give a good explaination about it.

but i am fine that some people start to give a long explanation with deep inside thought about Yi Seo or Soo Ah. and thats fine everyone can have their own opinion.

just be civil with it and dont do straight hate like blind person because it just no cool at all.

Cinematography is top notch.

The scene where she hug seo woo for the first time is so sad :( i am crying. Also when seo woo fell and she said sorry its ugh....

So the Time jump is coming!

I guess it will be ep 10.

And for those who slander Jo Yi Seo you guys need to understand that she got complex and deep character and is still young and developing.

But i believe with Sae royi on her side she will become a better human and fit him the best.

She is willing to change when he taught her what had to be prioritized.

I must say that after the timeline jump this drama will be even better and with how the writter mixup between webtoon and their own twist, this start to be a real fight on the second half. Prepare your self guys

Your view on some character will change drastically after the jump.

Your view on yi seo too i guess.

I guess ep 9 will be all about the build up for JGW JYS and PSR scene. So the ep 10 is a completly new timeline ( 2020 ) 

I wonder how will they change the style of the staff of danbam and OSA hair too.


And yeah i try to read it again. We will be on the Change of timeline real soon. I guess ep 10.


The only scene left from this timeline is JGW JYS and PSR scene. JGW and JYS had a meeting and talk. They talk so much like almost one episode alone. And then JYS seems to make JGW mad(?) JYS Tried to escape from him but JGW caught her And JGW Punch JYS right in her face. And the people came to see what happen and JGW said that this is his personal problem and said to just go away. He throw bunch of money to the air and when he about to hit jys again, PSR come and punch him in the face too and then the cop came and i guess JGW got into trouble with cop ( again ) and the JDH really mad and punch him too in left cheek. And the Aftermath of that scene is a timeline jump shown by JYS hair become long although PSR hair is still chessnut.

PSR open his own company and jys hyuni and sw is there. He is the CEO and then JGS come back from abroad and got picked up at airport by OSA.

So i guess JGS study abroad before the timeline jump(?)

And JGW is on the jail on that timeline jump.

If anyone is impatient at what most likely happen in ep 9 and 10 i got some possible spoiler for you based on webtoon ( just hope that the writter dont make a major plot twist again )

I knew because i read the webtoon hehe i am waiting for the scene where JGW got punched by PSR because JGW punch JYS lol it is so sastifying

Whats up with ep 8 ending.

Wow the plot thickens and no preview aswell.

They know how to torture us with the cliffhanger.

She had some fine part for a lack of conscience. And thats why she shows trait of a sociopath. Maybe she wasnt a 100% sociopath but she had some.fine share to be one.

Hell she was very smart or you could say she is genius.

Thats why she only befriend what benefit her ( see the 3 rich girl in early episode when she join them.so she can get free drink )

Her act is not what normal people would do but it shows what her growth will be with PSR guidance she will become a better person. While ever since she was child she was taught to be no 1 no matter how she achieve it ( look at the flashback with her pushing other to win the race ) but PSR will change her lack of conscience for other. Especially their own friend

But the main point of this drama aside from the revenge arc is the romance and thats alone contribute to most of the success of the drama.

If this is just a revenge drama i bet there is no way this drama.would even pass 5% ratings.

It is the combination of Revenge/Youth life/Underdogs/Romance and the amazing cast of new face into TV ( Kim Da Mi ) that make the drama really popular. Also the way they had all kind of people that if alone people would think they are nothing

- PSR ex convict
- hyun ni transgender
- tony kim foreigner and black although he is half korean and can speak korean fluently
- JYS a sociopath
- CSK ex convict and gang member
- JGS a illegimate kid

The Romance is ofcourse needed because it is the main point of the shows. The growth of feeling from like to love.

The drama shows what happen when you take something for granted and somebody overtake you for it.

Ofcourse romance alone cant make this drama successful but with what director and writter mix all the element from youth/revenge/romance/underdog what made this drama.wonderful.

So why JYS is better suit than OSA for PSR?

First of all, She is what PSR need to reach his end goal. She is a supportive friend that fully support his dream and want to reach success together. She set whats need to be done for danbam and boom the pub suddenly become a hit that many people come and making profit rather than going on minus. She set her goal is to help him reach his dream and win his heart. And so far her act is all for his good although some came to reckless ( for example kicking hyun ni but later make up with it or now asking jgs to go out ) But there where PSR supposed to be. He will be the Life Guide for JYS Soul. He taught her whats important especially the friendship and need to support each other so her emotional aspect could grow aswell. A smart girl with a wise man is what you called match made in Heaven.

They compliment each other and together they will be unstoppable power couple.

Meanwhile OSA.

Man why do i need to explain.

Even the first reason already a big no and never.

1. JANGGA employee. End of discussion. There are no way she will help PSR reach his dream because as he said If he is doing well than she will lose her job. So do you think she can help PSR reach his dream like JYS?? NO

2. She isnt even trying to win his heart but instead she feels like only playing with PSR feeling for her. Just watch the drama.and you will know why.

3. Accepting the jangga scolarship is also one of the reason they arent made for each other. There are just no way you did that to PSR after what happen to his father and her "Father" and so far she seems loyal to jangga so no there is no something like " i want to be successful so i can destroy janga later on" mentaity like PSR had

There is no such things as broken soul atleast for soo ah.

If u got to soompi forum, there are lots of people who mentioned why. I try to read most of them and yeah it make sense.

Whatever she do is her choice. Ever since the start.
-She had no obligation to accept the Scolarship. Especially knowing that it was by the company who killed her own father figure. But still she accept it.

- She had no obligation to not being a witness for PSR father case ( although we know why she didnt need to because JDH paid the superior of the detective to cover the case ) but you can see she shut her mouth as tight as possible knowing the choice she took.

- What is her loss so far? Believe me if there is no JYS, she will keep playing PSR feeling just like what it used to be.
Although PSR always care for her. The addition of JYS once again shows that she wasnt the only one and if she want something she need to fight for it. Just like what JYS said in EP 7 to JGS ( check it yourself what she said ) the same things applies to OSA. She cant just stay still and hoping PSR will had his heart for her forever. If she want to be with PSR then she need to fight for it.

So to say that she was a broken soul. NO she wasnt a broken soul. Instead she was a free soul that had a freepath of her life and career so far. While PSR had all the hardship with the hardwork and with his father unjustice death thats what you called a broken soul.

If this is another drama yes maybe PSR and OSA melodrama could work ( but really that like cliche melo revenge romance drama.that i had watch )

Looking at how the drama rating progress ( 12.3% rn ) this drama is doing really fine and the direction is great

And no way soo ah and sae royi is better couple than jys and psr except if u talking about their high school days while they are so cute and pure then i agree 200%
