A bit about me as a drama addict:

Genres I like watching: Action,  Life,  martial arts, comedy, romance,  drama, family, wuxia and thriller.   In general I enjoy when my main leads are both badass and smart XD, or are very understanding and sentimental, not just talking sticks lol. I really like seeing characters undergo transformation, like if something plotwise happened that shook them to their core to change them for the better, 

Dramas: I generally spend few hours a day watching drama's, if its good I dedicate all my attention  if its not so good I put it on like the radio to accompany while I do my chores or just to learn the language as background noise.

Rating system: I'll be honest lol... my ratings from the past are nothing exact, they are not to be trusted. XD

What I appreciate in a drama

I appreciate a nice good plot, HE dramas, doesn't have to be a HE as long as it makes me feel like I learnt something new or want to cry really hard, I like BE as long as they are justified (I wouldn't want a good BE drama to escape my grasp, that would be a waste), I like developing characters that change over time and learn. I like sci-fy stuff because I love my science so I will always give sci-fy dramas a try, unless they are very bad XD.  I also like nice fluffy romantic drama's as long as it doesn't have many tropey plots, but sometimes I give them a chance due to some actors and actresses who are acting in it.  I like my ML's and GL's to be smart, each time a fluffy romance comes out, I am praying they will turn out to be smart, because most of the times they let me down XD. Also I enjoy wuxia drama's, really appreciate the martial art moves.  I also like it when a drama has good bgm and nice cgi, I enjoy xianxia dramas , but not all, some look a little too fake for me, but of course if the ML and GL have chemistry I might perhaps reconsider. 

Oh yes, I also have a thing for unconventional plotlines with anti-hero's as main leads, but who in reality are  humane and change their ways to help others and sincerely redeem themselves.  People are not perfect and I really like it when they reflect all those different and colorful shades in a drama. We are all striving to be the best of what we were yesterday.                                

I am always ready to learn about Chinese culture and how the industry works

I also love discussing about dramanews and about the drama's I watch with other drama lovers. I like hearing about all the technical stuff, dubbing, the edition and directing. I also enjoy hearing about the cultural aspects of Chinese dramas, their poems (when they say one),tongue twisters,  the jokes, and all those words with hidden second meanings.  (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o))) 

Also I like being in the hype of new airing drama's. I can always be waiting for something to air or crying for something that hasn't aired yet (╥﹏╥) like those in my list "Hopefully-they'll-release-before-I-die- type of dramas"

So finally... 

In general since 2015 my taste in drama's has changed a lot, since watching whatever was on air (Never Drop Disease) no matter good or bad, to finally watch fewer and enjoy more. When I look back I still can't believe I watched many weird, funny, bad, and good drama's, but hey! （＾∇＾）that's all part of the experience. I think it's actually for the better, the time I spend watching in my computer and stuff like that is more healthy than before. Now I basically watch like 4 to 5 dramas a month, unless a series is very small and bingebly.

So yeah, come at me drama's and throw me your best shot, I'm ready.

What I do when I am not watching dramas (yes we all have a life besides this)

Who I am:

An avid chinese language learner thanks to my cdrama addiction, a naturist who likes gardening and stuff like that.  A person who is into the occult and into white magic. I like doing numerology, tarot and astrological readings. I really love talking about life, the understanding of the importance about being in tune with oneself. I am a physics grad, who loves mathematics and numbers, I spend most of my time reading, cooking, helping my husband in his work or working online. In my free time and daily routine I practice the violin, but am originally a flutist( 箫 & transversal flute). I also enjoy playing videogames, right now I am playing genshin impact, don't starve and am an avid otome game lover In general.

Yes, I also like reading manga and webtoons a lot...
