Title Why R U?
I don't really get the hype around Together With Me, I mean, don't get me wrong, the chemistry was amazing, I…
Now I have the urge to watch sotus again since I also watched it only once and it was fairly long ago. I remember I liked it, but not to the point of obsessing over it. Maybe I should rewatch and see if anything changed after the long time (and much more BLs).

Unfortunately the straight couple in together with me isn't interesting at all. I tried to give them a chance, because most of the time I'm giving chance to all side couples, but this one was boring as hell from beginning till the end.
My favorite straight couple is Fah and Pan from Water boyy the series, because their story was one of the most interesting there is. I think I was invested in them more than in the main couple.

Thank you for making me think about this more. Now I feel like watching sotus again! :)

I understand your point of view, because even though I'm really biased towards MaxTul and I feel the urge to defend them, I cannot argue with the fact that the side couples are one of the most boring ones in BL history. Sadly at this point when I mention Together with me I only mean KornKnock and Yihwa.
Also I wouldn't say the series itself is my favorite, because it lacks in many ways. The storyline isn't really original and innovative and the production also isn't one of the most esthetically pleasing ones. But somehow I always find myself returning back to it.

I will say that KornKnock is my favorite BL couple. It's beyond my understanding how they managed to capture my heart the way they did even with kinda trashy side storylines, but I just know that in my opinion no other BL couple ever exceeded their chemistry (except maybe SarawatTine). I really like the main storyline. I like how they portrayed their friendship and the development of their relationship felt natural.

I don't actually want to change your mind, because I feel like it's totally fine if you find TWM boring. Everyone has different priorities and likes different aspects in series and that's totally okay. I, for example, don't really find SOTUS that interesting, but I understand why some people do. That's why I don't like this whole "hype culture". I think that everyone should just watch what has caught they attention and should not be mad when there is someone who doesn't feel the same way about it.

I like having discussions with people who have different opinions, because most of the time it widens my horizon of how I see things. Just now you made me realize how much this series depends on MaxTul (and maybe Yihwa). I've never even realized how bad this series would be without them. That's how good their chemistry is! They made me partly blind and now I want to rewatch it.

Honestly last few episodes it felt like I'm watching porn...

You have about 3 minutes of dialogue and then just episode full of getting it on. I'm glad that they were much more mature about the whole intimacy thing than some other BLs, but if you overdo it, it just looses the charm and you start to feel the need to skip the scenes. I'm convinced that the best ratio of those hot scenes were in Together with me and I've never seen any other BL to exceed them or even align with them.

The way this series is handling every problem feels very forced and unrealistic...

I don't like how easily HwaHwa or Fighters dad change their minds just for the sake of the happy ending without any obstacles... I'm glad that they got one, but it's really not believable and that's I think what is bugging me the most.

It wasn't the best series, but also not the worst. I'll probably come back and rewatch, but only the first six episodes and the rest of SaiZon.

People have a misconception that the next morning the bottom would not be able to get up n all.. it doesn’t…
That is not at all what I meant...
It just doesn't feel like they really did something. I would expect them to be more lovey dovey after their first time together or atleast have some subtle hints in the series. I've never said anything about him not being able to walk the next day.

They did, this is a pg13 show. Just like the other from the same company with this target audience, they don't…
yeah, I understand that this is GMMTV, I've never anticipated any hot and heavy scenes... But I feel like there would atleast be subtle hints.

I mean they've showed a bouquet of condoms and almost every episode there is someone shirtless... So I think it's still pg13 to make them lie in the bed looking more like couple who just had their first time last night (no shirts, cuddling or something like that). I believe GMMTV knows that and intentionally made it this way... But who knows

I'm a little bit confused. Did they sleep together or not?
Like most of the time you can tell in BLs and the moment he threw him onto the bed I was convinced that they did it, but then they woke up and I was like ,,nope, they didn't". I believe that it would be portrayed differently if they really slept together, so I think they didn't, but I really need some expert opinions from my fellow 2gether addicts.

I like this series but somewhere somehow it has lost its sparks. It is getting draggy, repetitive with the flirting…
Yeah, I agree with the sparks... I still really love it, but in the previous episodes the fluttering feeling was much stronger.
For me I think it's because of too many fighting scenes. Like okay, beat him once, but do you have to do it every ten minutes?
Maybe I didn't get the sparks from this episode because it was too dramatic and some scenes were kinda cringy (like the whole ,,I will play instead of Sarawat, even tho I can only play chord C" scene)
But to be honest I'm not surprised or disappointed, because in the preview of ep 9 only the bed scenes caught my attention, so I was expecting weaker episode. But I have high hopes for episode 10, so wish me luck.

Question. James says "It's been a year since you liked him." Can someone explain to me what time we're talking…
I was wondering that too! This timeline thing really kinda ruins it for me... They should atleast put that little ,,Blah blah months later" thingy, so that viewers aren't that lost.

THE DRAMA IS HERE! Jesus ... I had such a bad feeling about Bright & Win from the very beginning. Those two are…
Those hardcore shippers are way too toxic. As viewers we have to realize that Sarawat, Tine or any other character from basically every show on TV aren't real. They are just acting. And they are acting very good, so good that some people are forgetting that it really is just a role.
Actors are normal people with normal lifes and that's perfectly okay. People on set could fall in love, we have many examples, but it's not their duty to actually date with every movie partner they had. More so when we talk about BLs. Sexuality sure is fluid, but you can't force it. We can't choose two people and just decide for them that they are now a couple. Life just doesn't work like that.
Even if Bright ended up falling for a boy, nowhere is written that the boy will be Win. He could fall for anyone he likes, it's not our life to live.
I mean, sure, sometimes actors have to act like they are pair in real life, because it's in their contract to promote the show (now I'm talking generally, not only about thai BLs), but it's still not real and after the promoting is over, they break up and their lifes go on.
Then we have the BL fanservices, I also like to watch them be all cute and sweet together, but I watch it with healthy detachment. It's okay if they aren't together. I'd rather watch true friendship, than fake relationship. I really hate that about the BLs in general and that's why I also don't enjoy when fujoshis in dramas are forcing their idols to get together. I mean, yeah, ship them quietly, but at the end of the day just let them live their lifes.

On another note, the drama about Brights girlfriend isn't mainly about this. But after the chinese storm, they started to drag her for being mean to Win. And I think that is once again the hardcore shipping getting the best out of fans.

The decision to air this before being ready is really backfiring. The more I watch other series that are coming out at the same time as WHY R U, the more I ask myself ,,How much is this mess really the fault of the pandemics?". I get that they tried to get the popularity and stable fanbase by airing the series earlier then the others, but they weren't ready at all. My engineer also isn't from well known company with high budget and they still managed to make the series great and the pandemics didn't disrupt the quality. They even worked out the problem of other accounts stealing their hard work.
WHY R U team really underestimated preparations for unexpected situations.

So far I enjoy this much more than Tossara.
Wars( Mark) acting is good and even though the pacing isn't great and they brushed off the fact that they slept together in the speed of Type running away from the fact that he gay in first episodes of TharnType, I still kinda like it.
When you stop comparing it to high budget series, it's cute escape from everyday stress.

What I love about this series is the acting and funny storyline. I like that even in the "cringy" moments you don't really cringe and the humor is on point. The pace of the story is very good, which is a relief, because most of the time the flowing storyline is hard to achieve. Also a lot of people in this series are new actors and that's just mindblowing, because you can't really tell. The acting is great.

One of the biggest highlights of the story is that you don't feel the need to skip secondary couples, since all of them are interesting and lovable, which I consider a miracle given that the series works with four couples. That's eight people, so the probability of finding someone cringy or annoying is really high. But no, I love them all (Even the friends of Duen are awesome). Every character has great, indepth personality, not like in a lot of other series, where secondary characters aren't important so they don't really have any personality, because they're there just for the sake of being an extra.
My least favorite couple is probably Mek/Boss, but even though they're the least favorite for me, I still like them and enjoy their parts. I think it's most likely due to the fact that the weird dubbing of Mek always catches me offguard. I'm still not sure why they chose chinese actor to play this role , so if someone knows, please tell me. I would get it if the character was written as for example mute or exchange student. But nevertheless, I like his character.
My favorite is King/Ram. Which probably isn't a surprise, they are just great.
As for Thara and Frong I'll have to wait and see, because they're just at the beginning, but so far I love it.
Bohn and Duen are perfect, what more can I say?

The series probably doesn't have as high budget as for example the series from GMMTV, because the company is not so well known yet, but I must say that they work perfectly with what they have. I imagine that if they had the budget and popularity, the series would be trending on the top right next to 2gether.
Also it saddens me that they have problems with the accounts stealing their episodes, because the quality is so high, they deserve every coin, view and comment for themselves.
On En of Love: TOSSARA Apr 12, 2020
You can see that Folk (Bar) would be great character in storyline with more depth since he can act and if guided properly, he could use his acting capabilities even more. On the other hand Win (Gun) not so much. He was acting weirdly and had one expression for the whole story. Also he was kinda okay looking, but not to the point of how they portrayed him. I mean in comparison to for example Sarawat (2gether) or Bohn (My engineer), where you clearly can see why everyone go so crazy for them, Gun is nothing too special. And I definitely don't mean it as an insult, in my opinion he just doesn't fit the role. And I would say that his acting is a really big part of why I can't really appreciate him. As viewer all I find interesting about him is his tallness, which is a sign of poorly written character, because he really have nothing much going on about him. He's dull, uninteresting and at times almost unbearable.

About the plot - sounded like cute, cheesy romcom in description, but was executed rather terribly. So far, I like Love Mechanics more (because the acting is much better - especially War (Mark)). It also isn't the work of art and next big "boom" in BL history, but they definitely work better with what they have in that part (sadly, I cannot say that about tossara).
