Hm I understand that people might be disappointed by the ending but honestly, I think it does make sense if you think about all the things the ML had to go through. I guess alternatively, he could have received therapy and lived a while on his own and figured out what he wants? A tricky situation because all the exorcism and stigmatization by the village/his past/dad also affected him and left him with trauma.
I'm so happy that the FL actually was emphatic but also acted rationally at the same time. I mean I could imagine her acting more based on her feelings but she never did. I mean even the exchange between her and her daughter was great. She understood that he never once lived freely and needed that distance. I loved the way she never tried to convince him of anything or how she never made him feel like a less trustworthy and lovable person because of his antisocial personality disorder. A lot of times characters with antisocial personality disorders are judged a lot and treated as differently in movies/tv shows. So, I'm happy with the way the story unfolded.
Tbh I'm mostly excited for The King: Eternal Monarch bc of him :D I hope that we get to see him in a teaser/trailer soon. P.S.: Listening to his interviews and especially his ASMR videos https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mDt_6qIB3Tk & https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bu7SA4x8Pc is so damn relaxing, especially during such stressful times. I also love how he is so obsessed with eggs!! But I hope that the interviewers get more creative with their questions hahaha
