Ok first of all, I RARELY re-watch shows so that's not gonna happen lmao and I'm no professional critic, I just say stuff based on my very subjective opinion. And second I agree with you on some level, I didn't knew about this technique. But I feel kdramas still most of the times don't get my feelings attached not becuase they are slow ( most of my favourite dramas are slow paced so I definitely don't mind it ) but rather becuase I've seen them have fillers to forcefully fill the typical 16 episodes format. Ofc that's not the case with all of the kdramas. It's just something I've noticed and that's why jdramas affects and involves ne emotionally more but that's very personal I guess. And I think that's why I love the original Japanese mother more. Plus slow-paced and wrongfully paced are different and KES's dramas most of the time falls in the latter category, in my opinion.
