Ok so first of all , my theories were right lol I'm feeling too many emotions right now but the trailer made my hopes more cuz I feel like the conflicts will focus on the coming of age aspect and this time teh will not be a jerk so y'all cannot slander him haha
Anyways, I was right about oh-aew, he really pursued acting cuz he wanted teh but the moment he got teh , he got bored of acting and that'd make conflicts between them. Plus his friends are making him enjoy parties and all that so he's more into that I guess and teh as we all know is focused on his acting.
I don't think there'd be a jealosy as a conflict tho, oab's character is Sus and I wanna punch him bad but that doesn't mean he can come between teh-oh, he's definitely trying to but he won't be able to.
Also I feel like they'll show us struggles of young new actors through their friends and them and I'm telling y'all, the friendship's gonna be wholesome.
So in conclusion, I think it will have fluff and a lot of sweet moments between teh-oh but then they would have common conflicts that couple of that age have and then we'll get a happy ending. I'm glad that they tell their college students about their relationship very soon and hold hands in public so again people don't have the chance to slander teh.
And omg we are gonna see teh-oh cuddling, holding hands, bathing together, kissing so naturally and and forehead kiss ??? And this is just the trailer ?? ( And I feel like if they do have a sex scene, they'll educate us about sex education cuz nadao did that in hormones ) I can't do it anymore . Brilliant short film with great cinematography. It talks about the discrimination and hate speech prostitutes have to face on a daily basis. It also talks about how asain households forces kids to do something that they don't like and not let them do what they DO like. It's slow but captivating. Definitely deserved the awards it won.
If you're wondering you should watch it or not, it's good if you know sono Sion's style. It's his typical movie but action is lot lesser compared to his other movies. It's crazy, perverted and funny.
I'm really loving this new wave in Taiwan! I loved most of the dramas that came out and especially the ones you mentioned! They are very good at making these kinds of stuff so they should make more! Great article btw! ♥️
So since I'm calm now, theory time. So I think part 2 or IPYTM ( I'm still not used to typing this but oh well I will ) is gonna have oh-aew's. Basically, oh-aew is the sun and teh is the moon cuz in part 1 he's telling the sun about oh-aew and you know what ? In episode 3 of part 1, teh and oh-aew held dolls while talking to each on phone right ? Oh-aew's doll had "solar" written on it and teh's doll had "lunar" written on it so I think they are emphazing on that, plus part 1's poster has sunlight and part 2 has moonlight. So basically, it's gonna be oh aew pov imo.
Also, I told My mom about this and she said, back in her days, people used to say that sun and moon can't be seen in the same sky together. It just can't happen but nowadays you do see them together sometimes. I think that symbolises how gay relationships weren't accepted in the past but now they've accepted been slowly. And do note that in Thailand a male is represented as the moon and a female is represented as the star. They always say moon ( meaning a male meaning teh ) is always supposed to be with stars ( meaning female ) but in this the moon, teh is with a sun who's also a male.
Also notice how in poster 1, they aren't making eye-contact cuz teh is confused but in poster 2 are! The details are immense! Ok thanks for coming to my ted talk lol
