well it takes time from the time they signed the contract to the Start of the filming so maybe the ml already signed the contract way longer. who knows

this drama was film 3 years ago if i am not wrong. so this is before the actor got famous. there are a lot of cases like this actually in cdrama scene. since in cdrama actor/actress can filmed many drama in a year some of the got shelved and release later.

It's because she has no business to be one of the main character. If she was written as a side character i dont think people will have as much as problem with her.
This is drama about brotherhood and political and war. Ning doesn't involve in those three aspect but she has too much screen time.
Even as the three brothers love line idk why they need to repeat the same troupe of 2 pairs that love each other but cant be together because of some situations when we already get that from syl and ka dan love line. And the other two love line from the brothers is written as a side characters only ning is written as main character

Butt she still doesn't add anything to the story though. We already have si yilin and ka dan for lovers who cant be together because of their status why do we need xiu and ning love line and xiu always pull back because he think he is not good enough for her. For politics she doesn't really involve in internal or external politics unless we will get season 3. Even then ning character shouldn't be made as one of the main characters but as side character

Wow the fl is annoying to watch all. The characters add no weight to the drama at all. She has no business to have as much as screentime that she had
