i didn’t have problem with the intro, but I must say the new one is much better. This republican drama is very different from the others I’ve watched. Usually it’s military and opium war, and a lot of violence. it’s not a great drama yet, but not bad either. It’s interesting 😁

You miss a lot of good drama if you only rely on the heat index. This drama is good, but very slow and a lot of angst, but the leads are very good. If you struggle with long cdrama this might not be your cup of tea.

That’s your opinion, and for the record it’s not his face that save a drama it’s his acting his face is just a plus. If you call this overly dramatic I don’t think you have watched a lot of republican drama or republican drama is not your cup of tea.

I never red synopsis and i don’t care about production quality. I seldom watch trailers. As long as a actor i follow is in a drama i watch. The only thing they need to do to keep me watching is tell the story well. It is two great actors so I’m sure they wil do that. Watched a lot of republican drama, but they are mostly short drama.

For me it started out a bit boring, because I’m used to every republican drama starts with a bang, but i dragged me through the two first episodes and on episode 3 it’s like i prefer a republican drama to be, full of angst, revenge, betrayal and romance. I was also surprised that I can watch it on WeTV and IQIYI, because that’s very rare.

They have great chemistry and I hope it ends with at least one kiss. That would be perfect. Either way this is a good drama. Many great actors.

making fake accusations tells more about your mentality than mine. I guess you’re one of those who believe posts paid for by companies that make money on destroying other people’s careers. Chinese entertainment industry is a tough industry and you can work yourself to death, but it doesn’t mean the company kill them, and many actors are workaholic and don’t take their health seriously before it’s to late.

I really can’t see the problem. It’s not like he is a very old guy. In my country 16 is legal age and at 18 we can marry who ever we want. Intimacy in drama like this is often at a minimum.

This was just what i needed after so many heavy drama. Short and cute. No problem recommending this as an easy to watch drama in between other drama.
