every episode i thought they couldnt break my heart more and today's episode proved me wrong yet again, such a heavy depressing episode but definitely my favourite one so far.

i couldnt imagined the pain and guilt zyc must have felt after he regained consciousness knowing he hurt wx and ying lei and possibly killing an innocent bystander. just the thought of it gave him a panic attack 😭

and i dont have enough words to express how much i love the brothel scene. absolute masterpiece! and such a stellar performance from every single one of our casts, the absolute pain on their faces seeing one of their own being hurt and mocked and ridiculed was heartbreaking to watch, zy was so mad he was ready to let loose regardless the consequences. i actually flinched and felt actual physically pain in my body when they threw that egg at zyc. and the way they intersperse the scene of zyc being admired and revered in the past to how they're all throwing rotten food at him now was so impactful and made the scene all the more painful.

and people always criticise wx on how she's always so weak. yea she may be weak physically but i feel that how strong she has always been mentally makes up for all the physical weakness, in my eyes she was so strong beautiful brave and steadfast standing up for her loved ones at that brothel.

and ying lei too is such loyal friend and i feel like people dont talk about it enough, the way he went through the harsh wilderness to get the healing wood, the way he was ready to defend zyc and how he believed in him despite the others saying they saw him killed a person, and how he took the brunt of all the rotten things people threw at zyc at the brothel, everyone honestly needs a ying lei in their lives

'i will never understand you. but now, i understand zhao yuanzhou' THIS!!! now that zyc has experienced it himself, he really does understands how zy feels being forced into doing something out of his control that is against his very nature, how much pain and guilt and self loathing he must have felt. and how despite all that, zy still choses to love and protect, unlike li lun who grew to be so bitter and full of hate.

i was crying from the brothel scenes and the ending song with the new sequence of everyone happy and laughing just made me cry harder lol- it honestly feels like a goodbye and i'm so attached to the demon hunting squad and i'm not ready to say goodbye or for that sad ending we all know is coming 😭 please gjm if you want kill them off, kill ALL of them off or let ALL of them live, dont make any of them go where the others cant follow 😭😭😭

depends on your preference, i’m watching this and fof rn, havent start on sotpg but this show is a healing balm after all the pain and heartache of fof. lgief has a pretty straightforward plot and was an easy watch, it was interesting from the start tho going forward i find myself getting slightly bored when the two leads arent on screen tho not that boring that i’d want to skip.

fof on the other hand is a bit heavy plotwise, it starts a bit slow but the third arc onwards was fast paced with multiple twists and revelations and so so good and had me anxiously waiting everyday for new episodes

the whiplash i got from quarter-nude evil zy to that heartbreaking montage of zy's dream of a simple carefree life with wenxiao- like one second i had to pause and pace my room from how sexy that mf is and the next i was crying over how much pain he must have been in and is still going through, like at this point zy being alive by the end of the drama seems kind of unlikely whats more being able to live out the rest of his life with his love 😭😭😭😭😭 i can only pray for miracle rn

ok i just binged the last 7 episodes and im going to pretend that last 10 minute wasnt there and theyre a happy family and all is well ☺️ if we ignore the last 10 minute i’m happy enough with the ending the way they showed how its going for the characters

anyways, the moment GSJ kneeled down acknowledging GZY as the SW gave me chills, i love his character so much like my dude just wants the best for his family like love all the tough love thing he has going on for GZY. the wufeng ambush was so so good it had me pacing my room from excitement while watching, with all of them plotting and working together, love love LOVEEE that we’re finally seeing that GZY GSJ collab, theyre seriously unstoppable when theyre together, and that little scene in the last episode when GZY called GSJ gege and GSJ playfully scolded him not to be like GYZ lmaoooo

and also clingy jinfan who would have thought lmaooo, THANK GOD FOR THE MAGICAL FLOWER like i was cursing SGQ to hell and back for killing jinfan, and god bless that my faves GYZ elder yue are alive

AND please can we talk about GYZ’s actor ??? that scene of him crying over GSJ left me almost speechless like he’s so so talented and for his debut role too! this dude will have a really bright future i can feel it and im so excited for his future works and to see him as the main lead next time

i have no words for todays episode, god so much pain. elder yue's actor is so talented, 2 years ago he looked so bright and his eyes are so full of life and now in the present time he really does look so broken after having lost his lover. and the way his hair turned grey from grief 😭😭😭

i was alrd crying through most of today's episode but when HYS started singing YQ's theme it absolutely broke me i cried so hard to the point i was hyperventilating, he practically raised her and probably loves her like a daughter and to see her being killed in front of him like that and to have to act like its nothing in front of the wufeng leader and only being able to let out his grief in some abandoned corner, how much pain must he have had felt at that time

also, i love that GZY alrd found out YWS real identity. while he's mad now i dont think he'll stay that way for long, he's a smart and empathetic man, after elder yue's told him all that he will surely know that its not YWS's choice to be in wufeng and she's just trying to stay alive and she really does care for him, they're definitely gonna make up the first few minutes of tomorrows episode
