Does this melodrama have like similar vibes to One Spring Night or another melodrama or is it like a fresh storyline. I'll binge watch this today

Am I the only one who finds the approach similar to Strangers From Hell.

Both dramas wanted to portray that the real monsters are themselves and not their surroundings.

I'll give this drama an 8/10. I think some of the characters are not necessary to be part of the drama like Andrew. His character was like a filler role.

Same goes for the old couple, they had lots of screen time in the first 6 episodes then in the last 6 episodes they had little to no screentime.

My favorite character here is Lee Ji Soo. I just felt her vibe all throughout the drama hoping that she would have more screentime. Like some actions scenes with Sae Bom.

I was actually expecting a lot of action scenes in different settings but I guess it didnt matter.

Nonetheless, this drama will be on my top 20 KDRAMAS this year.

Am I the only one who wants a new set of main leads aside from Teacher Kim? I mean, I don't see a point in having all the main leads from S1 and S2 in S3. It will just be a mess, imagine the screen time that has to be placed for the storyline. Maybe a cameo role is better but having them as main leads again in S3 will be messy. I'd rather see Teacher Kim with a mix of veteran actors.

Do you think there will be a Season 2 like an explanation or aftermath of what happened. I'm really interested on how it all began, the angels of death and that in the open ending, Park Jung Ja came back from Hell or is it really Hell. Will the people who received the decree or prophecy come back. It just feels weird that they just let it happen and that it's just normal. There's no other solution or proposal to stop the angels of death.

At the same time, you will not miss a lot if you don't watch it. I think only a few will be anticipating for the 2nd season based on its viewership.

Always consider that every KDRAMA may not be fast paced. There are a lot of KDRAMAS that has a slow paced approach. The opening episodes will be like a development of the story and as the episodes pass by the tempo gets higher and higher as well as the suspense. I would agree that the opening episodes of the Cursed was somewhat boring or dragging but as soon as you see the story develop. It will be very interesting, at first I was hesitant because I don't know any of the cast but it gave me like a happy go lucky vibe so I just gave it a shot and it went well for me. There's also a chance that you may not like it, based on the reviews from other people in MDL, the drama only had an average rating of 7.8. There will be Season 2 though so you still have time to catch up if you're planning to continue it.

I agree that this drama deserves a higher rating. It's just not everyone's cup of tea. Compared to other mainstream KDRAMAs of 2021. The storyline of this drama is somewhat more complex and hard to dig in for the viewers to watch.

In terms of the statistics provided in MDL. Age group of 18-34 has an average score of 7.5-7.7, on the other hand, age groups 45+ has an average rating of 8-8.5 which can be one of the reasons why this drama is somewhat rated lower than expected. I guess the storyline didn't fit in well with the target audience for this drama.

One of the best cult dramas. My number #1 is still The Cursed. I enjoyed the visual effects and that it's just 6 episodes but if they added like 2 more episodes for a better explanation of what is happening, I'll give this drama a 10. In terms of acting, I'm not a fan of Yoo Ah In's character, I think it's just too vague knowing that he's a leader of a group. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the fast paced storyline and I would still recommend this drama to everyone. Heads up, some of the scenes may be too violent or gruesome.

My favorite cell is Hunger and Fashion Cell. Though they have limited screen time, they never fail to amuse me.

Simplicity at its finest. I love the creativity from this story with a mix and match of animation. I also love that their actually voice actors and the dialogue was just spot on.

Others may say thats its too plain or common romance storyline but like what I said, simplicity at its finest.

To be honest, I didn't feel the presence of Yoon Soo Hyun throughout the whole drama. As a a main lead, I don't know what's her main purpose in the drama. I think it would have been better if Oh Jin Joo was the main lead and had more screen time since she was part of the Live court show. Nonetheless I enjoyed watching the drama and my favorite character is Jung Sun ah, It's my first time watching her and her tone is so different compared to other actors/actresses. Her voice and emotions really fit thriller/horror dramas.

I'm curious who is the aunt in Episode 14-15 in the phone call.

Everything is not rushed about your article. Probably took you weeks or a month to finish this. I love the choice of words as well as the questions you have noted in your survey. If I were to answer what is a happy ending. A happy ending for me is when everything just flows smoothly. It's not how the main leads end up together or how the main villain is killed/vanished, but how the story flows smoothly as it reaches the end. I always believe in the saying "Many will start fast, few will finish strong."

For me, KDRAMAS these days have been inconsistent, some will start strong while their ending is weak, while some start weak and their ending is strong. In order to have a happy ending, the story should stay consistent and everything just follows on what is ahead. Some KDRAMAS have to either change their story or include a plot twist just to have a happy ending and it's not really amazing at all.

I hope you would make another article such as what makes you engage in this certain type of KDRAMA. I'm also willing to be your helping hand if you have plans on making another article. If you're still a student this could be a great topic for your research paper.

That's normal to all. It sometimes depends on the mood of the person or it's not yet the right time for you to watch. It can also be you were watching the same genre that's why you are forcing yourself to watch. For me, this drama is just a slow start, I would say this drama is not that bad and not that great as well, storywise. You should still give it a shot

The Chemistry between Ga Mo Tak and Do Ha Na. They actually look like a Father-Daughter Tandem. :)

The ending is not really disappointing at all. If you have been watching mystery dramas you would know what the ending will be about if you know what I mean
