I really like romance comedy, or romance, slice of life, action and fantasy. I also enjoy period dramas.

I need some recommendations from you. I feel like I might be missing out on some gems due to following whatever the raitings are on here. I just don't want to waist my time is all.

I agree woth you. I don't know if the main commonter is just naive and young but it's not shocking that women were asked to make coffee and serve in the office. obviously. If you don't like a part of history, erasing it from stories doesn't mean it didn't happen. I can not understand this person at all. I personally think this drama was lacking in other ways. Whoever wrote this didn't do the best at making me bond with characters. they should have flushed out each character more, such a lost opportunity. I have no feelings when certain characters nearly died and the plot did remind me of little women which is like 5 times better then this drama because they really work on each characters moral thought processes. Anyway, your review is bad. The main review I mean.

I'm so sorry but "when the phone rings" had an abysmal ending. The intense drama is had made it fun but the plot was stale and very much nonsense by the end. I would say the beginning was good but the ending made almost no sense and there were quite a few issues.

The plot also doesn't feel exciting and I watch non romance dramas as well. I'll admit that I am a sucker for romance dramas but I know a good plot or even an original plot when I see one. I would still say this drama is mid though. And I say that with all kindness, I even have bias because I really like the main actor but the plot really just doesn't feel elaborate enough to me not to be anything but mid. Like, I know everything that's going to happen before it happens, it's an intertaining watch but not all that excellent.

yeah, totally fair!! not like I hate the drama or anything, like it's intertaining but I just feel like it's slightly bellow average. Do you have any recommendations? Just dramas that are underrated or you really like? I feel like we could possibly have similar taste. 🤔

Not going to lie, I don't understand the 8.6 ratting, so far the chemistry between the leads is very lack luster to me.

HAHA Yeah, I saw your comment and got curios what you were talking about because I like to find new music, so I went back to episode 7 to check so the time stamp you supplied helped a lot. LOL I looked it up by its exact lyrics from Viki and input them into chat GPT which I know is super lazy but hey it worked!! XD

I totally understand why people are upset that this show has gotten really low ratings, but I also have to say, as a person who has watched a lot of dramas, there were so many small plot holes and random filming inconsistencies. I can tell this drama was on a budget without seeing the budget. Also, it felt a bit unrealistic in some areas that could have been written better (I.E. Cliff scene, beginning when evil guy left her inside the car without just taking her hostage, also randomly left car and wasn't shown when he left after the crash). I do love a drama with drama... and this drama, in that way, didn't disappoint me. But I think if you want something with good drama and less inconsistencies in filming and plot, I recommend Mask for a good watch, if you enjoyed this drama that is. It's a little older but it also has good drama and its very entertaining. When I started watching this show, I felt the same vibe from it, not sure why, I just did. I will definitely follow this Director though, because I feel like there is potential in their future works. The Descendant of The Sun randomness thrown in at the ending was just a little too much for me and the lines at the end didn't fit the rest of the drama tone. Anyway, let me know what your opinion is below. I ended up giving it a 7.5, which is rare because I usually don't watch dramas or finish dramas unless I feel they are above an 8. It was still entertaining, and I would say it's above average. Wish I could give it an 8 in good conscience but the ending scene (You know what I am talking about) and the characters not feeling flushed out enough ruined the ending for me too much. You can disagree with me, or not. Let me know how you felt about it though. <3

Yeah, I got really into plants a year ago. That's really the only reason I know the other meaning. The other meaning is hilarious though. >.< To be fair, I could have misspelled it so it might be different a little, but they just sound the same. I didn't really double check my spelling. The suffix ending is different though.

I also was thinking, if she fell, she should be right under the place she fell, but it seems she rolled all the way down the mountain. LOL But the drama within this drama is so good... I don't even care if it's unrealistic at this point. hahaha

I get what you are saying. I was annoyed in the beginning as well to be honest. I was wondering why it reminded me so much of a manwha, it was because it was based off of one. The guys usually are mean in the beginning. I think the author does this to create drama and then they kind of give reasoning for why they were such awful people later. I agree with you though. I wish it could have been done better. He still feels pretty mean in some ways. You could argue it was because he never received love in his family but that's about it when it comes to excuses for the ml.
