yeah, I would imagine that will be case due to it's popularity at the moment. Also, depending on how they execute the story, I think if they lean into how he was raised being the reason he is so different, the drama could be saved, if it's as bad as you say it is it might not be salvageable. I usually wait for dramas to air in order to watch them. I don't watch dramas bellow 8.0 so I guess I'll have to wait and see. let me know what you think later.

Yes, we are referring to MDL but my question is... are you referring to MDL and the quality of their platform or people are unable to leave the drama...? People have free will; they can click off of the drama if they feel uncomfortable. That's what I meant with my last statement.

Can very much relate. Was worried I was the only one. A lot of the characters in this drama are insufferable as you said. LOL

All you have to do is press pause after seeing the first part of the episode and switch to a happy drama and quit. I understand that people get triggered but I'm not sure if it's something to worry too much about. If you are simply worried about the quality of My Drama List then I can get behind that statement.

not going to lie... this drama was one of the worst dramas I have watched in almost five years. I stopped watching the drama and walked around the house doing chores while listening to the Korean for practice. that's when you know it's bad. I can understand a good amount, so it was nice for practice... but if memory serves me right, there is no category for dramas to practice Korean with. it might have a 9.0 rating for me if that were the case, it was just that insufferable. 😂 The drama is filled with repetitive misunderstandings, and I just remember being annoyed the whole drama. Don't get me wrong, I like myself some cliches, but this was on another level of pain and suffering. The characters just don't know how to communicate, which is frustrating cause they are all supposed to be adults. The story was all over the place, the acting was questionable, and the OST was okay. Ost's can most often make or break a drama, but it can't save it from, what I would consider, a train wreck. It simply enhances, what should be, an already amazing work of art. I'm not sure how this is an 8.2. It's lacking too much to have that high of a rating. I don't watch dramas that are under 8.0 because I don't want to waste my time, this drama was a waste, and the MDL rating system is broken, I guess. 😅🤷‍♀️. The only positive was the bromance which allowed for a small amount of character development. Please don't waste your time like I did. If you want a good drama with Park Ji Hoon simply watch My Hero Class, and for
Bae In Hyuk, watch My Neighbor is a Gumiho or Under the Queen's Umbrella. It also felt like Park Ji Hoon didn't enjoy his role either. I felt that this specific role made him uncomfortable and was oozing out of the screen. Although I could be wrong, I feel bad if that is the case. He just feels so much more natural in My Hero Class.

I'm not going to lie... this was not my cup of tea. It's not that I don't enjoy slow dramas, but something just felt so off. Anyone else have a hard time liking this drama or was it just me...? I'm so comfuzled why I didn't enjoy it. Even if you did enjoy it, I'm open for people giving me some examples on why I might not have liked it. lol The one thing I did love was the OST, including the instrumentals.

I'm not going to lie... I'm not sure why this is so highly rated. I think Psychopath Diaries was written better then this drama. that drama only has an 8.3 rating but I laughed so much while watching it. no hate I guess I'm confused. I'm on episode 12 out of 17. I think the male lead just is smart but he isn't all at the same time? maybe that's the part that bothers me, I'm not sure.

Shocked people don't like this drama. By far one of my favorites. The cinematography feels very warm. It feels alive and makes you feel like you are part of the story. Every person in this drama has the characteristics that make up a real person. They suffer, they heal, they grow. It's slow, if you can't take that, don't watch it. Going into it you should know it's slice of life and very slow because of that. If you want something to feel warm inside and also relax while watching, then this is the drama for you. Also, if you liked Yumi's Cells then it would be a good idea to check this drama out. It is actually made by the same person (not sure if it's the cinematography or the filming in general). This drama made me smile lightly and it made me cry hard.

I get that people are upset with cliches, but I don't mind myself a little classic cliches here and there. Understandable some people are upset but I'm hoping this one will be executed properly. I'll end up waiting till everything has aired and then I'll see if it's worth watching depending on reviews and also ratings.

oh...? I'm fine with a lack of communication. I know people who would go insane due to the plot, but it sounds like it's possibly my type of drama.

I appreciate that you told me. I'm still thinking on watching it as sometimes I'm in the mood for a more lighthearted drama. Maybe this will be a rare moment where I enjoy a historical drama that has modern ideas mixed in while still taking itself somewhat seriously.

Is this drama worth it so far...? I like when historical dramas are serious. Something between or similar to Rebel Thief Who Stole the People and Alchemy of Souls (I actually prefer the second season over the last one.)
