Peut-être que le fait que cela soit diffusé sur une plateforme asiatique limite aussi le public puisque cela touche principalement des personnes qui regardent des dramas ... En tout cas, c'est dommage, je trouve qu'on est clairement à un niveau supérieur en termes de production, de visuel et de jeu d'acteur !

I didn't watch these series but I've heard good things about them ! I have the impression that there is not much novelty in the scenarios of the series, especially thai BL. I'm also a little tired of the romanticization of toxic relationships. I think the last one I really liked was A tale of thousand stars : I find that this serie is more a story about becoming an adult and knowing how to love yourself than a typical story. I couldn't have said it better myself. Like you, I don't think stories should focus only on the difficulty of being LGBT+ but as you said, representations are important and can help to relate to someone.
I am always very impressed by people who study languages because I have often found it difficult ! In France, we aren't very good at learning foreign languages... I've known more people who hated French classes in school so I'm glad to know that you love learning it :)
