Amazing write up! I came to Lakorn world by chance too. I was watching some Korean drama video compilations on youtube, and I came across this video which was a video mix on show called Kluen Cheewit. Then slowly got to know the different channels, actors, terms like koojins. Technically my first brush with Thai language was crazy little thing called love by Mario and Baifern. I loved Mario right from there! After coming to lakorn world, I found out Mario is also tv actor. But it was Kluen Cheewit that hooked me. I must have watched a lot of lakorns that I lost count. I was always interested in Thai actually. My friend got me onto it. Although I cannot speak a lot of words, I can understand the basic thanks to the numerous lakorns I have watched. Mostly lakorns with my favs! My most fav actors are Push and Mike. I also like Mark, James Ji/Ma, Pon, Warit(Mai), Mik, Great, Nine, Sean, Son Yuke, Tor and Weir. Long list cos well, I’m a girl for a start! In girls I seriously stan only Yaya. I have a huge woman crush on her! I like others too, but Yaya is the only love! Fav Koojin is ofcourse Mark-Yaya hand down! I have come across many pairings and liked many too, till date no one could surpass the chemistry by Mark-Yaya. They have this underlying natural sexual tension that I feel so awkward about. Exactly why I’m most hooked to them. Also I I also like MaiOum, Aomike, James Ji with Yaya/Taew, Push with almost all his heroines(he can create chemistry with a tree even), SeanEsther, SonVill, PonBua, ThorMingta/WinLek (only the characters) etc. Hopefully one day I see Push and Yaya pairing! It’s my ultimate favourite pairing, as they are my number one male and female fav. Thanks for this article that made me reminisce about my journey with lakorns.
I have been binge watching all Push’s shows again recently and I realised how much I missed Push and his works. He is really one of the very few in lakorn world who can create chemistry with any actress he star with. Definitely one of the biggest male stars in Lakorn world alongside the popular channel 3 guys and Mike. On side note, am I the only one who finds it awkward that he has a bathing scene in all of his shows? It’s like man objectified in every single show of his. Poor thing he must have worked his ass off to maintain that hot sexy lean body of his. But it’s also weird how a male is being objectified in the lakorn world as compared to how female are objectified in Indian movies. While I’m glad he is doing lakorn with two actresses I can bear onscreen(Aom and Mai), I still hope that he will do lakorn with Yaya one day. My ultimate pairing for Lakorn! Yaya-Push <3 anyone else waiting with me?
