The smooth sailing doesn't last forever as he gets betrayed by every one including the FL(thinking she doing right) and turns into a bit of a jerk but it gets resolved

I really feel for her only her adopted daughters are decent both her natural sons are s**ts

I think Sunam is one of those Kdrama characters that`s secretly seriously rich....there`s been hints throughout the drama of that same for her son(yachting is not a poor mans sport especially if your the captain) so i`m betting she does own the building

It ends how you should expect it to..the bad guy goes to prison for other crimes but gets redeemed(typical Kdrama) and all the matchups in the drama end happy

Thats my point winning not winning wasn't really relevant...the same series without that hook would have been the same...

The statute of Limitation for Murder in Korea before 2007 was set at 15yrs from 2007-2015 it was 25yrs and after 2015 the limitation was abolished completely...

BUT the repeal of the statute wasn't(isn't) retroactive meaning if you murdered someone before 2007 you cant be tried for murder today...if you killed someone between 2007-2015 you have a limitation of 25yrs(so if the crime happened in 2007 after 2032 you cant be tried)

but if you killed someone after 2015 you can to tried no matter when your caught...

The reason its relevant in this drama is because Gyeol father died 25-30yrs ago so the statute of limitation has run out years before the drama takes place

OK as an office drama but nothing special...it needed a little more romance and drama and the hook of being a lottery winners was pretty pointless

The usual tropes are appearing ...i`m wondering how Da Mi not being related to her family will work out and when her real parents will turn up

Alot of these 100+ dramas have/use the same actors over and over especially the older ones ..a mum in one drama or a villain in another..

your right about Da Mi intervening the girl was making it a scene for no reason and though she shouldn't hit her the VIP had clearly told her to throw it away implying that was the end of it

I only brought it up because it really happens in real life...there have been many cases of co-workers suing winners for part of their win in court and actually winning the case

Watching ep5 it struck me the lottery win might become a big issue because IF they had any previous agreement to share winnings(which they did say) then Jung could have a claim on it....not sure if the story goes that way but if would add drama

OK i`m just about to watch the final episode but i have to comment on ep13....

what a dumb stupid ending...he`s in a fight and winning yet in the middle of it he fusses over something else takes his eye off the guy and gets totally clobbered

I usually avoid any adaptation of DL like the plague ....i hate the whole idea of it

The JCW take is spot on he was having a run of great action dramas then switched to romance and none of them were that good

Long dramas are usually bad especially if they`ve been extended honestly most of them arent that good ...this was better than most as you didnt have a stupid FL or ML and the villain wasnt doing evil things in utterly dumb ways

It was never going to be a murder charge(manslaughter at worse) and unfortunately due to Korea's statute of limitations it was obvious that he couldn't be even be tried for it if it was...

Eun Ae`s dad is the husband of the old Chairman's daughter and was the more successful businessman plus he hasnt been tainted by any scandal so he`s likely going to be Chairman...

Kwon-Sik i feel might be CEO or go back to his old role of being the chief secretary but i think its very possible Min Ho will be CEO...

I dont think Gyeol will be either CEO or Chairman mostly because he`s a creator not an administrator

As its definitely going over 120 i`d say Asianwiki might have it right

Same this is kinda annoying as there nothing left to resolve... so why extra episodes???.....

The only one trying here is Ko Dae Chi he might be the villain(though a pretty minor one) but he puts a lot into the scenes he`s given...most of the others especially the ML are walking planks of wood...(i like Min Ho mind as he a nice guy and isnt the sort of SML we usually get)

Typical Kdrama a huge fuss about exposing an old crime he cant even be tried for...if it wasnt for the slush fund would he even go to jail??...

Watched it years ago but i wasn't expecting much and at first i hated the FL as a gold digger...as the drama goes on though and its revealed what really happen you end up siding with her completely...its doesn't make my top 10 but i do highly rate it and its a drama ive watched more than once...
